The bike in this video is selling itself as the Pagani Zonda of motorcycles. We're a little at a loss here, because we thought the Pagani Zonda of motorcycles would be something awesome, terrifying and well made. Think Freddie Spencer edition Honda CBR1000RR, but with JATO boosters and a hand-tooled leather saddle.

Instead, we got this lump. An uninspired, V-Twin-powered slug that looks like an afterthought of the Orange County Choppers crew. Luckily for the rest of the world, only five of these things will be built. So the likelihood of one ever assaulting your eyes in person is nil. Check out the video after the jump.

"The bike in this video is selling itself as the Pagani Zonda of motorcycles." no, you're being an idiot. there isn't a single statement or image implying anything of the like. "the Pagani Zonda of motorcycles" is just something you made up. it's just a motorcycle playfully styled like the Zonda. this bike isn't meant to be serious, and it isn't meant to seriously impress. if Pagani wanted to build a serious, impressive bike, he could have, but that OBVIOUSLY isn't what he was trying to do here. you're a fool for thinking otherwise, and doubly a fool for trying to present this bike something it's clearly not in a post

It says "Zonda" on the bike. Duh.
yeah so that makes it a "Pagani Zonda motorcycle" that just has a few styling cues from the Zonda and the name. it is not, and does not pretend to be "THE Pagani Zonda of motorcycles" which would imply serious performance and radical, performance oriented bodywork. DUHHHH

Even the OCC boys wouldn't put their stamp on this piece of garbage. It looks like a motorcycle designed by car guys who know nothing about motorcycles. Oops! It is a motorcycle done by car guys who know nothing about motorcycles!

I dont get where the hate of the editor comes from. It's a great looking bike. Not as sporty as the car of course.

It's gotta be kinda insulting to put a generic V-twin in this machine. The worst engine anyone can put in anything imho, At the very least they could have thrown in a custom V6 or something. And seriously what's with the gaudiness of it, last I checked the pagani zonda is a sleek aerodynamic super car, this thing looks to be the opposite of that.

This bike makes baby jebus cry.

A spoiler...this is a motorcycle, with a spoiler. A spoiler...I just can't get past the spoiler. Hopefully none of the 5 bikes being built sell, since that will only encourage them to build more.
I was going to say the same thing. A spoiler that leans with the bike just shows a complete lack of understanding of physics.

What scale is it? Definitely doesn't look full-size to me.
      • 3 Years Ago there's your "hand-tooled leather saddle." it looks like an afterthought because it is one--an afterthought of Horacio Pagani himself--created only for its bespoke nature and styling, NOT to meet the delusional preconceived notions of some lowly car blogger. that's ALL it was meant to be, and ALL it was meant to be seen as. it isn't trying to make any of the false pretenses you claim it does... if you read the feature, he also has a Pagani Zonda-styled sound system and grand piano. does that mean you're gonna criticize them too for not being "the Pagani Zonda of sound systems" or "the Pagani Zonda of grand pianos"? you might as well, if this is how your logic works.

Wait....We want downforce from a spoiler behind the rear axle line? Correct me if I'm wrong but seems a bit counterproductive
