Drift vehicles come in all shapes, from the ever-popular Nissan 240SX all the way up to Mike Ryan's Freightliner. Somewhere on that vast scale of driftables sits this V8-powered Ford Transit van, which can roast tires with extreme prejudice. It also sounds fantastic, whips up donuts faster than Dunkin and drifts through turns with grace.

      many moons ago in 1985 I rode in a Supervan Transit 2 powered by a F1 Cosworth engine.. It was supposedly the fastest van in its day. Ford in Europe ah been promoting the Transit in this way for eons..

      Give it to Sabine and watch her taking over bikes, and perhaps Porsches now, around the 'ring.

      Practical? No. But it sure looks fun. That is some crazy power coming from that van. Definitely not your mom's soccer mobile.

      I'm not a big fan of drifting or Ford products for that matter but I have to admit that is a pretty cool video. It's funny seeing a van whipping through turns with zero body roll. The suspension on that thing has to be wound so tight that if you hit a bump you'd shatter every tooth in your head..

      The Ford Transit Connect is a 2.0 liter, four banger, FRONT WHEEL DRIVE, 7/10's version of the Transit. It's made in Turkey and sold worldwide. As such, it's not driftable. It's 180 degrees from the Ford Transit in this video, which by the way, is awesome!

      This drifting fad can't end soon enough. Just a bunch of no talent clowns who can't drive well enough to get a sponsorship in any respectable series. Mash the go pedal, turn the wheel a notch...wow...step aside Mario Andretti.

        @Ant
        It is a ford transit van, not the Ford Transit "Connect". "connects" is used as a verb in the title just to confuse you the slower among us. oh and this video is epic win!

          Don't call someone slower when you're misusing the word "epic".
