Infiniti will debut its new seven-passenger JX as part of this year's Pebble Beach festivities, and a third teaser image of the crossover has just been released on the Interwebs. This latest teaser is the third installment in Infiniti's seven-week-long rollout, leading up to the JX's official debut in mid-August. In the first and second images, we got a glimpse at the crossover's headlamps and taillamps, but now, the driver's side is being shown, complete with an Etherea-like design kink in the D-pillar. I really am loving the Infiniti design language... looks very JDM.

That warped c-pillar is such a bad idea.

I don't mind the pillar so much as the wack shape of the resulting rear quarter window. It looks like it's melted and running down the side of the car. There's no tension. It's more of the gross lumpiness of the current M sedan and QX SUV.

What I want to see from Infiniti is an honest to goodness M3 fighter. The G37 sport is a great car (but IMO it needs a bit more focus). Lexus has the IS-F, a somewhat half baked attempt. I'm sure if Infiniti put their minds to it they could build a world class M3 fighter. I understand people want crossovers and there's more money in that market but please give us enthusiasts a bit something more to chew on.
