Driving mom around Laguna Seca in a Corvette Z06 – Click above to watch the video after the jump

There are many reasons why I love my mom, and one of them is that she shares my love of cars. She's never been opposed to a bit of spirited driving, and when I tell her about a hot test car that's in my garage, she gets excited and starts asking questions like, "It has the manual transmission, right?" She's sat shotgun on race tracks before, and would definitely jump at the opportunity to ride along in a Chevrolet Corvette Z06 while I toss it around Laguna Seca. She'd probably have a blast.

Other moms, however, wouldn't be so eager to get in and buckle up. And even if they did agree to go for the ride, their reactions would probably be something more akin to the woman seen in the video after the jump.

We've seen plenty of hilarious reactions to folks taking their loved ones out for a bit of enthusiastic driving, whether it be their mom, wife or son in the passenger seat. This video is no different, and you'll definitely want to click past the jump to see for yourself. Be sure to let us know how you think your mom would react to a few hot lap around a racetrack in the Comments.

The comment about her not being able to eat lunch but wanting a beer is classic. This is some of the best stuff ever on the Interwebs!

My mom would FREAK, even worse than this lady. My mother is the worst backseat driver in history. I'm going too slow, I'm going too fast, I'm waiting too long at the light, I'm not waiting long ENOUGH at the light, I'm following too close (Seriously mom, that car was 5 seconds ahead of us. That's too close?!)

i drove my mom around gingerman a few times in my fusion.. then she was like, "do i get to try?" she gets in the drivers seat, then runs 7 tenths faster than i did.. lol so those of you thinking about this, be careful.. it could backfire on you.

My Mom wouldn't even get in the car. :( There is literally nothing I could do to get her into a race car of any kind. I took her for a ride in my STI a couple years back and didn't even exceed the speed limit, she still hated every minute of it. :(

Windows must be rolled down for track days - safety rule; if there's an off, they want as little glass as possible flying around

My mom is tough. While she was born in 1933, nothing I, or any other driver, could do while taking her for a ride could provoke her out of her dead silence.
