2009 Lamborghini LP640 Star Wars – Click above to view video after the jump

Brian Zuk wrapped a 2008 Lamborghini Murcielago LP 640 with a Star Wars-themed vinyl skin for this year's Gold Rush Rally 3. Verdict? We like.

The wrap features Clone Wars-era Jedi Order crests on the passenger side, Galactic Republic/Galactic Empire crests on the driver's side, and an overhead view of an R2 unit on the car's roof (very handy for repairing the V12's hyperdrive). If nothing else, this Lambo's a lock to score one of the prime valet spots outside Jabba's palace. Hop the jump to watch video of it in action.

      Would have been much better with a Space Balls theme.

        @Roshan
        The Space Balls theme will have to be done to a Super Veloce, with the obligatory "ludicrous speed" vinyl wrap.

      I like the idea, but the execution is awful.

      well ... it could be worse: he could have gone for a painted Lego Star Wars theme instead of a wrap

        Come to the dark side, Dan. We have real cars for real enthusiasts. Or drive your golf cart to Autobloggreen where others may share your peculiar enthusiasm for a technology that is almost 100 years old with far too many flaws for its false eco future tech credentials, cars with several hundreds of pounds of corrosive battery cells guaranteeing you limited mobility, reduced reliability, and impairing costs. Then recharge for 8 hours from ... a coal burning power station. Suddenly 12 pumping pistons and a sonorous exhaust note doesnt seem so bad. Please only comment on electric vehicle articles if this dinosaur tech offends you so greatly.

      If the owner was a real Star Wars fan he would have put the car in a custom made package and never opened it.

      The ultimate in automotive sex appeal combined with virgin-for-life star wars fanboism. I assume these cancel each other out, and achieve something similar to Toyota Camry appeal?
