Today is the 4th of July – Independence Day – and as a country, we're all taking a break from the normal work routine to celebrate America's 235th birthday. (She's looking good in her old age, isn't she?) Like many of you, we'll be kicking back with family and friends today, but never fear, we've still got plenty of content coming your way.

In the spirit of Independence Day, be sure to check out our Partisan Pony Cars feature, in which two of our editors argue over which droptop muscle car is the most American – the 2011 Ford Mustang GT Convertible or 2011 Chevrolet Camaro SS Convertible. Cast your vote for which car should be most honored to wear the Stars and Stripes, but fair warning: The Mustang is already off to a commanding lead.

From all of us here at Autoblog, Happy Independence Day.

Yeah happy "this country is totally screwed thanks for f#cking it up liberals" Day. What part of 14 trillion in debt do you not understand? I know, blame Bush. Problem is your savior made it worse!!! Every year he's running over a trillion $ deficit. Spending and the growth of government is out of control. I won't even mention the 14% inflation or the 22% real unemployment. There is nothing to celebrate. We are in serious trouble and we're not even free any more. Patriot Act, NSA spying, TSA groping, etc. I think the most ironic thing though is celebrating by buying Chinese made fireworks. Incredible. Go ahead and thumbs down this, but you know it's ALL true. Truth hurts.
