Full-size Lego Volvo XC90 prank – Click above to watch video after the jump

Peter Ronchetti is the general manager of Legoland in California. He drives a Volvo XC60, but the Legoland staff decided he should jump up to the XC90. Seeing as the Legoland staff is rather skilled at turning interlocking plastic bricks into art, they decided to give Ronchetti a full-size Volvo. Sort of...

The result is one amazing, and lighthearted, prank. See the team's hard work by watching the clip posted after the jump.

I read the title, but I couldn't help but think seeing this, "OMG my car is made of pixels!"

I have a picture of that exact Lego Volvo on display, taken in Legoland California in 2003. BTW, the park was the best I've ever been in, especially if you've got small kids. And what's not better in Lego!

The video isn't old. And who cares if it is? Jesus, why are there so many Ebaums users on AB?

That's awesome. I think I would prefer to have the Lego version than the real Volvo.

Forget a bigger SUV. How about a Volvette? (a boxy V70 with a corvette motor for those not in on it)

I remember taking a picture of this car at the first auto show I ever went to. I think it was the '04 or '05 NYIAS.
