For those of you with a string of leased homes or apartments in your past, you probably know how trying a rental experience can sometimes be. Leaky faucets, recalcitrant appliances and squeaky ceiling fans are bad enough, but if you've got a difficult landlord, these sorts of everyday problems can become even more trying.
An ornery landlord may or may not be what lit a fuse under a renter in Detroit early Tuesday morning, but according to the Motor City's WXYZ Channel 7, an angry woman chained a pickup to the front wall of her home in the middle of the night, then buried the throttle. This, apparently after also flooding the basement and smashing out the home's windows.
For its part, WXYZ says it doesn't yet know what caused the woman to deconstruct her own home, but notes that she was understood to be in some sort of dispute with her landlord. She had not yet been located at the time of WXYZ's report, which you can watch after the jump.
