2011 Audi R8 GT Spyder – Click above for high-res image gallery

The 2012 Audi R8 GT Spyder came to Le Mans in full regalia, and our own Drew Phillips was there to catch it in all its topless glory. We got full details on the V10-motivated convertible Audi supercar last week. With 560 horsepower and 398 lb-ft on tap, Audi's new ragtop sprints to 60 in a scant 3.8 seconds and doesn't stop until the needle touches 197 mph. With that out of the way, you may now commence ogling the matte-finished beauty in attached image gallery.

Audi just seem like a 'Max Power' company to me. They just modify their cars. They dont have the depth of design or the passion like a BMW.

I'm in love with those wheels!! Those are some of the best looking wheels this side of aftermarket. Wow. But for $200K, I'd expect such awesomeness. Good job Audi. I wonder how lightweight (or heavy) they are. If they're heavy you might as well look to aftermarket anyway.

Why does the weight of the wheels matter? Anyway, this is a wonderful colour.

It affects performance, though some may argue that it doesn't matter for daily driving.

For this price i would just as well get a Ferrari. What are they thinking about?

I've seen plenty of R8's in this color but never expected to see it color in matte. NICE!
