Ken Block DiRT 3 promo – Click above to watch the video after the jump

We can never get enough of Ken Block's Gymkhana, and we're pretty sure that many of you feel the same way. Lucky for us, Block and Codemasters have the launch of DiRT 3 to look forward to, making a new drift video a no-brainer.

Watch Block as he hops behind the wheel of the Ford Focus Rally car at London's Battersea Power Station, the same place he took a bikini model from Zoo Magazine for a ride. As always, Block traverses some keenly placed obstacles whilst drifting and doing donuts all the way. As a special sendoff to DiRT 3, Block also drifts through a series of stacked DiRT 3 boxes, which we hope aren't filled with copies of the $59 game.

Hit the jump
to watch the slide-master do his thing. This may not be Block's best work, but it isn't often that we actually enjoy being bombarded with advertising.

While entertaining, I still prefer to see these machines eating up corners in remote wildernesses.

Exactly.... crashing through boxes and crashing at WRC (while trailing even midfielders)... not the same thing.

Kind of hard to be driving a Subaru in the WRC when they pulled out of the series 3 years ago. There's no privateer teams in the WRC anymore, either. So he wouldn't of survived if he had gone private and used a Subaru.

@Jonathon A wave of bad luck followed him because he entered into WRC, where as before he was only competing in North American Rally. He went to play with the big boys. He doesnt suck, he is driving against some of the greatest drivers on this planet. Subaru betrayed rally. The cars are not as nibble or even compare to the new Fiesta or even the old Focus. I dont understand why so many people jump on the Subaru ban wagon. I've owned 2 and loved both Subies but Im glad Block is now running with Ford. He would not be able to enter the WRC, and M sport has made a wicked Fiesta.

How many comments are you going to make on this post? You must be wearing the special edition Ken Block knee pads. I bet they are all worn out.

I'm so sick of this dude and his choreographed stunts. 50 takes and a shitload of editing is not a great skill.

Choreographed? Uh no. It's called practice. Hey, how about we see you try to do the whole Gymkhana course in one take? I'll put up a grand of my own money you wouldn't even make the first obstacle.

Oh I see, so now he does it in one take? Please pull his dick out your mouth and stop making retarded bets on the interwebz.

Um where did I say he did it in one take? I said I'd like to see YOU do it in one take since you seem to think there's people out there (obviously including you) who can. Reading comprehension much?

Part of the problem is he's driving his tired old WRC car which doesn't make anywhere near the power of the monsters he uses for Gymkhana. Plus it looks like a gravel setup for splashyness.

He has to use the old car because neither Block, nor Monster Ford Racing is going to risk screwing up a Fiesta RS WRC.

Actually, they wanted to use the Gymkhana Fiesta, but it was in the US and would be too risky/costly to bring it over. Second choice was to use the Fiesta WRC (Mikko Hirvonnen had his there) but Ken smashed his to pieces in Portugal only a couple weeks prior to the Battersea Event. So, the only vehicle left was the WRC Focus. That's why. :-p

Oh and to add, you see F1 drivers do it ALL the time. McLaren made Button use the old MP4 for an exhibition run with the Vodafone Aussie V8 Supercar team. They'll be doing the samething when Mobil 1 does the exhibition with Hamilton and Tony Stewart.

And another fail to AB for not providing an edit feature. There's only supposed to be 1 Fiesta there.
