Bentley Continental GTC spy shots – Click above for high-res image gallery

Following the launch of the refreshed 2012 Continental GT coupe, Bentley is prepping the inevitable droptop GTC variant, which our spies have just caught testing on the Nürburgring.

As you'd expect, the Conti GTC benefits from a Mulsanne-inspired front fascia, as well as some slightly updated taillamps. Inside, a new dash will be on hand, as well as updated front buckets – just like the coupe.

Under the hood, the Bentley W12 has received a few updates for the 2012 model year that result in more power and fewer C02 emissions. In the future, you'll even be able to spec the GTC with an all-new 4.0-liter V8... Just like the coupe.

The New coupe looks better than the Older one,However, i think the older GTC looks nicer than this new one, especially by the rear. Anyways,we'll see when the new GTC is officially out. I wonder if the V8 Continental will be cheaper than the W12,since the W12 in other car is always the top of the range engine.

Who is willing to pay so much for such an ugly vehicle, other than unfaithful ex-governors with a rough German accent?

Why is it riding so high? Looks like they plan to do some off roading.

Something about the rear 3/4 view makes me think awkwardly-proportioned-Chinese-Mustang knockoff.
