Mercedes-Benz GLK spy shots – Click above for high-res image gallery

Mercedes-Benz is prepping a refreshed GLK, and our spy photographers have managed to capture an example running around with a dash of camouflage covering up the revised front and rear ends.

Nothing major to report here, but it seems this future GLK will be wearing updated headlights along with re-shaped front and rear bumpers. We can see a row of LED running lamps poking out of the perforated camo up front, as well as more angular headlamp clusters. As far as updated powertrain details, we're still in the dark, but don't be surprised if the new direct-injected 3.5-liter V6 from the C350 finds its way underhood.

Clicking through the gallery below will give you an idea of what to expect when the refreshed Mercedes-Benz GLK makes an uncovered appearance.

I've ridden in one of these before, say what you want about the exterior but it has a very nice interior with comfortable seats and a great stereo. Rides very well also, feels very solid.

I'd have to agree. Like most of the current Benzes, it's not very good looking but is built like a tank.

The 2012 GLK will not be getting the direct injection engine. Our revised product guides at the dealership still show the 268 hp 3.5 V6. We will however be seeing the turbo diesel in the 2013 model .

Is it just me, or does this look like a Subaru Forester?

I group the GLK in with the Acura RDX and Infiniti EX as some of the most embarrassing vehicles on the road today.

I have seen exactly ONE GLK in person since they were introduced. Even though I'm personally poor as a churchmouse, I live on the "goldcoast" of Connecticut, and no one seems to be buying these. and Autoblog, why do I have to login EVERY SINGLE TIME i make a comment? even your "old" interface remembered me every single time I commented. This is infuriating. Perhaps that's why you did it?

Still looks like a Sebring station wagon. (I know it's not, but it was decided around the same time by the same company after all.)

Get out of your dream world. The technology you speak of with the features and amenities that people expect from a Mercedes is unattainable at 45k.
