The Peraves Monotracer is the gasoline-fueled version of the battery-powered E-Tracer (now called the Monotracer E), winner of the prestigious Progressive Automotive X-Prize in the Alternative Class-Tandem. Though the Monotracer does burn fuel, it sips it at a rate that allows the sleek two-wheeler to return 60 to 70 miles per gallon and, for a mere $75,000, a Monotracer could be parked in your garage.
Late last year, Peraves chief executive officer, Roger Riedener, introduced Callie Calimlim to the radically styled, fuel-efficient Monotracer at Opportunity Green 2010 held at Los Angeles Center Studios. Luckily, Calimlim shot video of the Peraves Monotracer walkaround and interview with Riedener and we've posted it after the jump. To see the Monotracer E in action, click here. Hat tip to Callie!
