Michael Schumacher/Nico Rosberg rivalry – Click above to view video after the jump

With a new race weekend comes a new video clip from Mercedes-Benz making light of the sometimes bitter rivalry between Michael Schumacher and Nico Rosberg, the company's Formula 1 teammates. This week's clip finds our heroes coming to the rescue of a pregnant woman stranded by a broken-down car.

Despite an impending rain storm and live birth, the woman and her husband can't decide whether Rosberg or Schumacher is the appropriate choice to get them to the hospital the quickest. On the one hand, there's Schumy's 7 championships. On the other, there's Rosberg's 2010 points tally, which doubled that of his veteran teammate. Click past the jump to see the drama unfold.

MS has a distinct Lars Ulrich vibe going in that shot. Only taller.

to much tv marketing and very low performance on the F1 cars AND also on the street ones... they aver very goog taking corners ¬¬

yea why would mercedes want to market their cars. Don't they know they are in the F1 business and not in the car selling business.

I don't care if Schumacher never wins another race, he'll still be my favorite modern driver.
And I don't care if he wins another 20 races, Senna will always be number one of all time.
And I don't care that he never won the World Championship, Sir Stirling Moss will always be my F1 idol.

Alonso is faster than both; the pregnant lady should be magnanimous two F1 drivers are there to save the day and they're not HRT drivers. Where's Mika BTW.

      RE: Vettel.

Vettel is EXTREMELY likely to trounce Mansell's 14 pole starts per season record. If he wins 3 more WDC's, PERIOD, he's on the table with Senna, Prost, Schumacher, Fangio, etc...

The kid is that good. He talks WAY to much in the press conference, but he is dynamite.

Onto this commercial. Nico has shown more in the same car as Schumacher. That's why he's in the conversation. He podiumed last season when Schumi didn't. Who cares why he was on the podium. If you trivialize his podium then you trivialize Heidfeld at Malaysia or Petrov the week previous.

The kid is good. He drives for the same team. He has charisma to spare and doesn't bitch about Schumacher. He has consistently outqualified Schumacher, and despite his lack of a race win, is a good driver.

I'd rather be talking Sergio Perez, Kamui Kobayashi or maybe Paul Di Resta's consistent points finishes in a crap car, but alas they're not in this commercial.

Agree with others, though. Where's Mika?

Rivalry? Sure, they're both German but one has 7 championships and the other doesn't even have a single victory. Rivalry?
