Teen joyrides in supermarket – Click above to watch the video after the jump

Have you ever pulled a prank only to wish you hadn't? We're guessing there's at least one teenage boy in Australia who knows exactly what we're talking about. The young man in question, who has yet to be officially identified by police, apparently rode his Kawasaki dirt bike right through a busy supermarket. If you think that's funny, then you should see what happens next.

Beyond the jump is store security camera footage of the incident. After the pubescent biker zipped through the first set of doors, he quickly approached the second set of automated doors, which failed to open as (poorly) planned. After appearing to slide for some distance, the biker runs headlong into the still-closed doors to the delight of blooper fans the world over.

Now, the biker didn't appear to hit the door all that hard, and he did eventually get away, but the Australian police think they know the identity of the suspected culprit. The local law enforcement is, as you may have guessed, very interested in talking to their primary suspect. Some of the charges being discussed are dangerous driving, driving without a license and conduct endangering life. Hit the jump to check out the video.

When I was a teenager, I worked as a delivery driver for a college town pizza joint. On one particularly lively gameday (this town takes its football very seriously), a bunch of drunken college students tried to pull off roughly the same prank. While one of them got access to the back door by feigning need for the bathroom, another held the front door open, and a third flew through the gap on a pocketbike. He made it through a busy lobby, an even busier kitchen, the prep/dish area, and out the backdoor without somuch as disrupting the workflow.

Make him do community service as punishment.

I'd sell the bike and make a company lunch :)

I'm surprised all those people held his bike for him while he walked right out the door...

I believe they were holding the bike to keep him from riding away on it.

I think it's great that they highlighted him on the bike in case we didn't know what to look for.

Am I the only one who watched this and thought "That's Awesome!" LOL!

Not sure we watched the same video. Runs headlong into the still-closed doors to the delight of blooper fans the world over? What about the part where he leaves, on foot, walking slowly, while shoppers retain his bike?

Yeah they did tell us this d*^&heads name etc straight away I believe. Can't believe they didn't restrain him as well as the bike, but the cops knew it was him straight up anyhow. Reckons he is willing to pay for his errors and whatever damage. News presenters said they reckon he should be made to scrub the skidmarks off with a toothbrush. Sounds like a good punishment to me. Just glad he didn't hit those couple of people.
Can't find a good link, sorry. BTW i'm not hatin' on somebody having a good time, I do it more than most in my car, but there is a time and a place, and this wasn't it!
