Fiat 500C – Click above for high-res image gallery

Fiat is getting ready to bring 500 Cabrio to the States. According to fresh reports, the top will drop on the 500C at the upcoming 2011 New York Auto Show. Shortly after making its U.S. debut, the Fiat 500C will head to dealer showrooms in time for spring to actually appear (nevermind what the calendar says).

Click through the gallery below for a glimpse of what we can expect to see on stage at the 2011 NYIAS. After that, be sure to check out the Abarth version for what we hope will eventually come over.

Seats four in a car shorter than my first-gen Miata. I'll take a used one for sure. Get it out already.

Abarth would be inching up into used Carrera territory anyway...

Cool. Let me know when the Abarth hits our shores and I'll actually be excited.

        good point, but
I just think AB could do a better job sniffing out images sometimes.
they always post images that are misleading....

"Super old" as in 2009-old, yes. The post says the US version will only be presented in NY, so did you prefer a nice blank image instead of this? Maybe a kid's drawing?

This is taking nostalgia a little too seriously. The top stack is so high, it cuts almost all rear vision, and combined with the tiny mirrors and top rail, makes a ragtop claustrophobic, just as it did decades ago. Tony says fugedabodit.

I like the looks of this, it doesn't have a basket handle and it's design doesn't look like it was an engineering afterthought. Get the Aberth version out here in the US and I think I've found my new summer car.

Two words for y'all: TRULY CLASSY.

Such a fine looking little automobile. Id love to own one just for simple motoring pleasure.
