Range Rover Sport Luxury Edition – Click above for image gallery

Most would view a sport-ute like the Range Rover Sport as luxurious enough already, but for those who disagree, Land Rover has debuted a new special edition.

Called the Luxury edition, it slots in between the HSE and Autobiography editions. It's distinguished by such special touches as a sun roof, heated steering wheel, contrast-stitched leather trim and a Harman/Kardon audio system. It's available in Europe exclusively with the 245-horsepower, 3.0-liter turbodiesel V6, and can be ordered in white, black or bronze, offset by black trim and 20-inch wheels.

Pricing reportedly comes in at a princely €110,000 – equivalent to about $150k. Have a closer look in the gallery below.

I am so sick of that design, a milk carton on wheels. Here in Miami there are four at every intersection, plus 8 BMW's and 12 "week old bar of soap" Audis.

Still the best looking full size suv out there and my daughter's absolute favorite vehicle, bar none! She can spot them on the road and call out "Range Rover" usually before I can see them.

Maybe, just maybe, RR will sell one here with a diesel .......... maybe!

      I'm not impressed...

I mean come on... you call those things "special touches"? Maybe on a Honda Civic it would be considered special, but I'd expect more from a $150,000 vehicle.

Why doesn't Land Rover just create a Sequioia/ Escalade ESV killer and stop with all these special editions? They are making smaller cars, make something bigger please. And yea, I know that the LR3 is a big car, but it's not upsale enough.

How can they kill Escalades when they can't even make a properly functioning vehicle?

I like that Land Rover has started removing the gaudy ornamental jewelry that has covered their trucks in recent years... class means NOT having to shout it from the rooftops.
