More proof the good ole USA is going global in it's nature and culture. We here love our safe colors of black, white and silver. Go to Europe. Even the luxo sedans are red, blue, green, etc. If I'm buying a 6, it's (sry) gonna be Aspensilber.

Most cars are grey our black or white... And then the old cars are turquoise.

        I am blue however.

And yes, I live in Europe :)

As I said before: dentists' wives need cars too.

You then, "ain't been where I been". Central and Southern Germany are full of colorful cars. Wierzburg had like one or two silvers that I saw. But, I didn't go to analyze car colors either. Even Frankfurt Au Main had alotta blues! BTW: if you know of someone going to Germany, tell them to meet you in the town of "Ausfart". It means exit. There's like a million of those signs on Autobahn 8. I crack myself up.

plus stupid discussion on both of our parts. Europe isn't one country and different places might have different car colour preferences.

what?? i've been to Europe a couple of time and most of the cars there are white or a light colour.

The revival of the 6 series has been terminated.

This model looks bland and more like a sedan than the sport coupe or Gran Touring car that BMW publicly claimed the renewed 6 was meant to become.

For crying out loud!... this car lines scream "senior citizen trendy transportation" : its has that message scribbled all over it.

Nothing wrong with that, mind you, but hardly the market niche the 6 series was supposed to target.

I was once seriously interested in putting my money in the car, then my interest drifted to the new MB coupe which I'm still considering in its new cabriolet guise.

This geriatric looking conveyance??? No thanks!!

With absolute disregard to its performance a sports or GT car needs to only to have the credentials to be considered sporty... to me it must have the looks as well.

      Beautiful.

I still say it looks like BMW tried to go retro by making a new version of an old AMC Matador coupe!

I don't love it and I kinda liked the last 6 even if I thought it was a bit awkward from most angles. This, this is kind of just a 1.5 scale 3 Series. It's like everything I don't like about the 3's styling gets exaggerated here with the larger size. Maybe it'll grow on me, but it still feels like the laziest design job outside of whoever gets to draw the next 911 or J. Mays.
