who in their right mind would drive a corvette grand sport off a cliff?

I don't know if a lot of people realize it but the first Furious movie was a total ripoff of Point Break. Watch the two back to back, surfers are switched for street racers. The plot is nearly identical.

The last two movies were good. This one looks like a rehash of 2 Fast which is ok to watch on cable when nothing else is on.

"Point Break" was a much better movie imho. It's too bad because I could not care less about surfing, but I love cars. Figure that one out.

That said, I still think the first was by far the best, with the fourth coming in at a distant second.

Geh. Wonderful Film series. This trilogy will be nicer than the originals and its tying up a STORY this way round. Brian lets Torreto go. Presently Brian helps Torreto escape. But now they're cornered and Rome and the others team up against agents [file missing]. Han escapes to Tokyo calling it is Mexico. Meanwhilez teenager Sean is sent to Japan and learns from Han until his death. [file Missing]. Torreto meets Sean to pay his respects to Han because [file missing].

As a Ford guy I had to shake my head at the Explorer cop car rolling at 1:16. Some jokes live on forever.

I'm actually going to go to the theater for this one! It looks epic!

I am just glad they didn't make the same mistakes the second and third installments did by not retaining Vin Diesel. His character is what made the first and fourth films.

The lead/good guy is too predictable, where as the one who walks the line, aka supporting actor, is what captivates audiences, and Vin Diesel is good at that. Smart move.

It looks like a lot of fun. OMG Jordana Brewster is so hot. I've had a crush on her since The Faculty.

      Video doesn't work...

About the movie... F&F should be about street racing, as it was the first time... this is now just an action movie, where they try to find ridiculous ways to use cars... draging a safe around town? c'mon... But I do like the connection to all the other movies... btw, Vince is back...

I agree with you, but these guys are now all wanted felons - so there's no way for them to go back to LA or wherever and start street racing for thousands or pink slips.

Maybe after this one a reboot is in order?

they sure like making them walk in a row. i bet the next movie is pre-fast and furious 1. and then the one after that is a story that occurs between pre-ff1 and ff1. then after that they're gonna do a story about something between 2 and 3 again.

They should have named it Furious Finale, but anyways. I'm sure that just like the 4 before it, it will be a nice blur of pretty, expensive cars melting their tires. Not that I'm complaining. I did see a GTR in there. I just hope it stays in one piece.

So basically its Oceans 11 + Cars = Fast 5?

Only thing saving this might be some fine Brazilian asses, but even those probably aren't worth the price of a movie ticket these days.

Fast and Furious never fails to entertain. Can't wait for this one.

The last one, Fast and Furious, was pretty good from an entertainment standpoint, i expect this one to be even better with this cast.
Looks like a serious amount of cash was spent on this movie.
