StarTech Jaguar XJ – Click above for high-res image gallery

StarTech, a division of the mad tuning company Brabus, offers upgrades for high-end vehicles from the likes of Jaguar and Land Rover. Formerly only available if you didn't live in the US of A, the company has now opened up shop in the States. StarTech now calls Irvine, California home to its U.S. operations.

The StarTech modifications are not as go-fast obsessed as the Brabus offerings for Mercedes-Benz vehicles. StarTech focuses more on style enhancements for the British luxury sedans, coupes and SUVs. Wheels, aero upgrades and suspension pieces are typical components of a StarTech package, and it will show off the 2011 StarTech Jaguar XJ at the upcoming 2011 Geneva Motor Show.

Very tasteful and reserved. I agree with OC, many tuners go too far.

Subtle. Nice. Way too many go overboard.

One small aside...was behind a new XJ the other day and my better half says "Hey that cars emblem is falling off" and I had to explain that it was a leaping cat. But through the power of suggestion, I now only see it as lopsided too!

Are those tires, or did they just use some of that spray-on rubberized truck bed liner on the outside of the wheels for traction?

Very tastefully done! I agree about painting over the black c-pillars, never was a fan of those in the first place. And ditch the LED light strips. Seriously, what is with every manufacturer and Pep Boys parts raider sticking them on their cars lately. UGH. Leave those to Audi, where they actually, you know, look good. I even saw a Windstar with ebay LED strip lights the other day. And a SRT-4! Looks horrid! Same goes for those stick-on fake Buick-wannabe fender holes, for petes sake!

Man, am I in a bad mood today or what?!?!

Will they correct what Jag did wrong?

Black out the roof between the sunroof and rear glass, but then put the C-pillars back to the way they should be, with body-color?
