Drifting on ice causes facial distortion in some passengers – Click above to watch video after the jump

Drifting on ice sounds a lot more exciting than Disney on Ice. At least to us, anyway.

A back-seat full of Japanese comedians may beg to differ after going for a sideways slide in the back seat of an older Mitsubishi Evo. There really isn't much for us to add to this clip because... well, we don't really know what's going on. We do know that the action is fast and furious while the comedians' expressions are of shock and sickness. Click past the jump and see the sideways-drama unfold for yourself.

Oh, and can we just say how crazy and insane – and undeniably entertaining – Japanese game shows tend to be?

I'm Japanese; I know what was going on.

First run was more of a practice.
The second run was when the drifter REALLY pushed it.
Then they were talking about doing a third run to complete this one promotional video, although the comedians are very reluctant about it. They're asked to keep smiling (which is very hard).

The only humorous thing about this video was how they kept on making funny faces. Otherwise, there's nothing really significant for me to translate.

Nah. Even by Japanese standards, this video is a bit bizarre.
There are many more subtle Japanese quiz shows; it's just that people tend to spread only the wackiest ones on the Internet.

        thx!
but I must admit that i've never seen a "normal" japanese tv show. i mean without crazy colors, silly dresses etc...

They were just saying "That's enough, that's enough!" before being told to remember to smile.

Pretty typical video for this show, though I haven't watched in a few months.
