The 2012 Nissan GT-R Egoist has landed – Click above for high-res image gallery

The 2012 Nissan GT-R is already out destroying pavement and causing saliva stains on the t-shirts of slack-jawed enthusiasts. The engine produces 530 horsepower, the launch control system propels the car forward like a runaway bullet train and the styling continues to polarize those who stare at its lines. Now Nissan has prepared a more luxurious GT-R for the people and it's called the Egoist.

All the details surrounding the GT-R Egoist have not yet materialized, but a plethora of pictures has made its way to the web. We know the interior will feature upgraded leather and carbon fiber materials and that a multitude of additional color choices will be available. No word yet on the cost for this super luxury coupe.

If you're a potential buyer of the Nissan GT-R Egoist, stop staring at yourself in your Rinceaux full-length mirror and check out the gallery of your future ride. If you can't find the scratch for the 2012 Nissan GT-R Egoist, you can still click through the gallery and enjoy the opulence.

I just traded in my black 2010 GT-R for the 2012 GT-R . The power and horsepower upgrades in the 2012 are incredible, however I have some concerns about traction and grip. The launch control feature is scary fast and direct, however the grip and traction is poor. The stability control kicks you off at 40 mph after getting there in 1 second. I suspect that the Dunlop Sportmaxx tires are not grippy enough as the 2010 which had the Bridgestone's on them. I believe the tires are over inflated at 34psi when they should be 29psi. Anyone out there had similar issues with the car not being able to hold down the power?

Nothing says luxury like the mixture of gorgeous leather and Alcantara with cheap plastic and even cheaper looking buttons.
Nissan has always had the worst looking buttons next to Pontiac and this car continues the tradition.

Egoist, eh? Shouldn't that be spelled Egotist, instead? Seems this car is aimed at snobs anyway.

Typical AB GTR-fanboys will disagree, but that is one of the most ugly/confusing interiors I've ever laid my eyes on.
Just one big cluster-**** of lines going in every direction, colors, patters, etc.

Why only one interior shot?? I like what they did with the leather, but there's just too much red in there, IMO.

Nissan Designer #1: Dude, I really like the red leather on the steering wheel.

Nissan Designer #2: Yea looks great, but we ordered way too much red leather.

Nissan Marketer #1: Let's just plaster it all over the interior of the car and sell it as an "Egotist" version.

        Everybody: LOL

        Nissan Executive #1: Genious!

If they're not going to bring back the heart of their GT-R, some sort of Inline-6 offering, the least they could do is give it an R34 front fascia. GT-R fans never wanted Copypasta Mitsubishi Evo styling.

The rear and sides are pretty perfect IMO. Just fix the front.

These look best in person and in black.

Why are the driver seat and passenger seat different?
To help better position the driver for driving.

There's one model up from the Egoist.. The V-VIP GT-R in the middle east with 24k gold bling... Reportedly $800k USD!

Oooh, there's a helicopter in the background, I wants it!
That helicopter? It's just a Robinson R-44. A good machine but as generic as white bread. Your average local flying school probably has one or two. They are relatively cheap to buy and operate and easy to clean when some farmer or construction foreman tracks mud through it.

A REAL playboy rich person would have a much more expensive helicopter, probably made by Eurocopter.

I love those wheels. The interior is VERY red....it reminds me of a late 80s Ford. Is that a bad thing to say?
