Touring Superleggera Flying Star – Click above for high-res image gallery

Bentley shooting brake, anyone? Carrozzeria Touring Superleggera can hook you up. The Milanese coachbuilder unveiled the Flying Star at last year's Geneva Motor Show, and stole our hearts in the process. But since the shooting brake debuted and its order books opened, Touring has only made three examples of the custom creation.

No wonder, as the coachbuilder says it takes 4,000 man-hours to transform a Continental GTC (still the outgoing model, we gather) into the long-roofed coupe. But thanks to increased investment in the form of new equipment and staff, Touring can now reportedly be working on up to five vehicles at a time.

Each example still takes six months to deliver, with total production limited to 19 examples. Fortunate buyers can specify from a range of customizations, including the twin-turbo 6.0-liter W12 in states of tune ranging from 552 horsepower (base) to 621 (Supersports).

No doubt this will be a huge hit with the Home Depot crowd. :P

I'd buy one (or at least a Matchbox version) of this particular Bentley because it's so darned wacky. I agree with a previous comment that this car reminds one of the Harold and Maude E-Type Hearse.

This Bentley should come with the Harold and Maude soundtrack programmed into its fancy sound system...

Another Bentley ripoff of Chrysler styling.....
I think Chrysler ripped off Bentley with their 300...

      Royal Canadian Limo

      good design like it..
      So, how\'s life?

Sorry to say, but it looks like a 2-door Lincoln MKT with a Bentley face. Exactly like it.

An ugly beast of a station wagon. Really I guess money cant buy taste.
        "ugly beast"? SEXY beast.

I'll be the first to admit this car isn't for everyone, but I really admire the work they did. An awful lot of these bespoke customs compromise somewhere, but this looks like it came right off a Bentley drawing-board.

I also appreciate that a marginally-useful Bentley Continental GT sounds ludicrous, and I'm not sure if it's really BETTER than the coupe, but it IS distinctive, handsome, and amazingly exclusive.

If I win the lotto anytime soon, I'll be checking it out.

Buick, make one like this, w/2.4 -6spd auto. Everyone has their "thing" & 3drs have been mine for 40 years. almost bought a Golf just because it was a 3dr & very unhappy that the Solstice kit never made it to the mkt.
The solstice kit was a squareback , offered by some co. in germany. I considered the factory hatch, but T tops are a turn off, & fuel tank in the trunk.

      This is pretty cool.

is that whole back part made of carbon fiber or fiberglass?
they cant be stamping metal.....maybe hand forming metal......?
If not metal, the back door couldnt possibly have the required "thud" of a heavy Bently steel door. Maybe they load it up with lead weights to get the required feel or something

If I was a rich businessman who needed to take clients to the golf course, this would be my car of choice. It's comfortable, has space for golf bags, classy, and different, something to potentially break the ice. Too bad I'm not and will never be a rich businessman.
...but you would still look like a businessman... not a DIC-TAY-tor

it's a top gear reference. Relax

I'll take one in Supersports tune. Nice clean design. I've seen quite atrocious work on the Bentley GTs.
