Jeep Wrangler Call of Duty: Black Ops Edition – Click above for high-res image gallery

During the 2011 Detroit Auto Show, Chrysler silently displayed its latest hardcore version of the Wrangler, the Call of Duty: Black Ops Edition. The stealthy Wrangler, now shown in two-door trim, looks fantastic with its mineral gray wheels, 32-inch off-road tires and host of Mopar goodies. On top of that, all Wranglers are recieving a brand-new interior and other small improvements for the 2011 model year, so the Black Ops edition is clearly ready to comfortably get you through any sort of war zone.

We've captured a brace of high-res images of the Call of Duty Wrangler live from Cobo Hall, so scroll through our gallery below to see them for yourself.

I would much rather have the Jeep pickup concept posted about yesterday.

The JEEP Wrangler in stock form is way over priced for what it is somewhere just short of 30K. Now if Chrysler made the stock Wrangler look like this it would be worth it.
I love Jeeps but I can buy alot more for my money in a half ton truck.
The Wrangler should be priced around 23K.
Wish I could afford a Jeep as a play toy but I can`t afford it for an only vehicle.

Seriously? Maybe it's just me, but I can't honestly understand who the heck is going to want to pay $30k+ for a Jeep with Call of Duty logos on it?

I guess it's for those who can't shout "geek" loud enough on their own...?

Its a Jeep - just buy a normal one and dive into the HUGE aftermarket for coolness add ons.

I would if the entire vehicle (including the fender guards) came in tonga-green, blue-ish marine digital camo, or a dark grey gunmetal finish. I could also do without the stars and CoD badge on the side, too. Love the mopar bits!

Looks interesting....but what self-respecting Black Op would drive a girly automatic?

A nerdy gamer who thinks Need For Speed is a real driving simulator?

I, for one, find it quite comical that those doors have locks on them.
Assuming the locks are keyed on both sides of the door, they would work when the top is up. Well, "work" only as well as any other convertible...until someone knifes the soft top to crawl in through the plastic windows. Doors are for sissies anyway!

I like the Jeep Nukizer 715 concept truck.... This Black ops jeep is nice to I guess , I really ticks me off that you show us the Jeep Nukizer 715 concept and then try to push that jeep Gladiator on us...its junky looking compared to the Jeep Nukizer 715 concept...and no serios truck buyer wants that gladiator jeep truck ( yuck ). I'll stick to a ford or dodge truck 4x4 till jeep puts out somthing worth a crap.

The type who wants to shoot while driving. This IS Call of Duty we're talking about.

A car made by the government?

I'd buy this, and then paint over any CoD accouterments so I wouldn't look like such a tool. I'd just be a tool, but no one would have to know it.

I'm digging the Mopar accessories they added, too.

Didnt a going under GM kill off Hummer because it was irrelevant in todays market?
      Take a hint Fiat!!!!
You think the Wrangler is irrelevant?
