Ferrari P4/5 hits the track – Click above to watch video after the jump

It's no secret that we wish James Glickenhaus would adopt us (Hell, your author would barely have to change his last name) and we've always been quite smitten with his one-off Ferrari P4/5. The Pininfarina-bodied car has been seen everywhere from New York City to a Gooding's auction at the Pebble Beach Concours d'Elegance, Palm Beach, Florida and even the Paris Motor Show. Now we have footage of it doing more than just looking good as Glickenhaus took the car across The Pond for some high-speed testing.

After calling it a day at the track, the P4/5 doesn't get put on a trailer, it's used to shuffle off into the city to enjoy the local night life. We're pretty sure that Mr. Glickenhaus gets the velvet-rope treatment when he heads out, but it's nice to see that the P4/5 does too.

Hop the jump to watch a short video of the Ferrari P4/5 in action.

      Uggggoooooolllleeeeee....

The Clarkson said it best..."You only THINK it looks nice coz it's a Ferrari." (Even if it's a one-off.)

Dino martin (Dean's late son) used to drive a pink Ferrari P4. Even in that ridiculous color choice that car was beyond gorgeous.

Sorry, I find this homage to be tacky.

Dino Martin's Ferrari was neither pink nor P4, it was a yellow P3 with blue rims.

        There's no accounting for taste.

Personally, I like the P4/5 very much, and find it vastly superior in appearance to the Enzo that donated its mechanicals - the P4/5 actually *looks* as a "Ferrari" should.

Do any of your comments NOT include the word "tacky"?

It's a shame Glick can't run that sexy V12 at the 'Ring... That high-speed-pass shot almost gave me wood.

Doesn't look as good as the enzo but it's still awesome

I don't care for the looks today and I didn't care for the looks years ago when I saw it in a magazine.

I like that James takes the car and drives it as it was designed and conceived - at speed, on track.

      Awesome!

Pretty brave to take that car into downtown Paris... even at night there's a lot of frenchies with limited respect for road rules!
