Brabus, the German auto tuners known for their aftermarket modifications on Mercedes Benz and Smart cars, amongst others, is now offering the "Brabus Green Package" to Tesla owners in Germany. Included in the package is a 240-volt home quick charging station that fully charges the Roadster in under six hours. A more interesting part of the green package is the 18,600 miles worth of electricity from renewable resources. The energy is provided by RWE, a German power utility company, and you also get a one-year, unlimited-use pass for all RWE public charging stations. Of course, it isn't a Brabus tuning package without the spiffy cosmetic upgrades, so you get a custom aqua-ish blue paint job, leather interior, a carbon fiber front lip, Brabus rear wing & diffuser (also made of carbon fiber) and a new tire and wheel set. In 2008, Brabus announced a different tuning package for the Roadster, which you can see here.
How much, you ask, for all this? Well, Brabus doesn't publish prices, so all we can do is guess much green the "Brabus Green Package" will cost. We're pretty sure that that whole, "If you have to ask, you probably can't afford it," rings really true here.
