Infiniti plays in the show with two new holiday ads – Click above to watch video after the jump

Infiniti is getting into the holiday spirit, and it has two new ads that each revolve around one theme: the snowball. The two ad clips are titled "Mischievous" and "Magical," and the slushy projectile is used in two very different ways in the ads. "Magical" takes a whimsical approach towards spreading holiday bliss, while "Mischievous" takes aim at a certain German competitor, with an all-wheel-drive Infiniti G sedan playing the role of the snowball's co-star.

We would love to see more snowy driving action with the G, but at least the spots get us in the right frame of mind for the season. Both ad spots are available for your viewing after the jump.

The BMW still got there first.

What a refreshing, unique advert. Stereotyping the drivers of German cars as snobbish pricks; that's NEVER been done before!

I'm a fan of the G, but these ads make Infiniti look pretty lame.

Cars are not the 'pricks', just most of their drivers. ;-)

Or, to paraphrase - "Cars don't 'Prick' people, people do."

      WORST compositing.

First one was not bad, however the second one... I am not a fan of any particular brand, but the only thing I "got" from watching second Ad is that a clearly jealous Infiniti user had an episode of extreme overreaction by physically destroying the other person's personal property (since he couldn't do it any other way - notice the BMW "destroyed" Infiniti's performance by getting to work FASTER than Infiniti did) in order to make his insecure self feel a little bit better about his purchasing decision?

Sorry, but this thing looks like some sort of bottom feeder... Catfish, guppy, juck!

BMW could care less about this struggling brand. Infiniti limited event means lease a new Infiniit for $159 a month

After viewing the mischievous snowball ad, I would never buy an infiniti car. It shows that the infiniti owner is a jerk. After a snowball is thrown at him, he creates a huge snowball which destroys his neighbors car and then with a smug smiles takes the parking spot. Not a very Christmas ad and it shows no human compassion.

#1 has already played down here. #2 is better IMO.

Though I personally HATE snow. I moved from the Midwest 15 years ago just to escape it. Sadly, it still harasses me, having dumped a record amount of it down here last year.

If I could afford it, I'd live in Australia from Nov to March, then back to the southern US for the other months. Then there'd be no snow in my life.

'cuz Aussieville is warm in our winter. Miami can still get cold (last year's records proved that). Plus, less old people to maneuver around. :-)

Why to go through the hassle (Australia...) just move south to Miami.

What's the difference between a porcupine and a BMW?
A porcupine has its pricks on the outside.

      That's some good fun Infiniti.
I like the small facelift on the G sedans.
