Click above to find out what the Autoblog team is thankful for

We here at Autoblog are a mighty thankful bunch, and we really shouldn't need just one day to sit down and consider what it is that we are truly just pleased as pumpkin pie for. But, in case you hadn't noticed, today is, in fact, Thanksgiving here in the good ol' United States of America, and so we've put together this list of what team Autoblog is most grateful for this year – check it out by clicking on the big inflatable bird above.

Of course, this isn't an exhaustive list by any means. For instance, we're all rather grateful that there's still an automotive industry – and perhaps more specifically an American automobile industry – for us to be obsessive about. Most of us are also happy that Top Gear USA has finally gotten off the ground, and we're hopeful that it proves entertaining over the long haul.

Sure, there's more. But we're also interested in knowing what you are most thankful for in 2010. Go ahead, leave us all a note in 'Comments.'

I'm thankful for all the family and friends who were concerned for me and came to visit while I had a brief, but serious, stay in the hospital this past week. I'm also grateful to have been discharged just in time to get home to my parent's, to enjoy a traditional Thanksgiving dinner with the family.

I'm thankful for the Auto Industry allowing me to buy a Hybrid, like the Insight, which I can afford, and send oSama a Message.

I'm glad that my next car, Volt, Leaf, ... will send a bigger message.

Thankful? Me too...but also hopeful. Hopeful that the guys at Top Gear USA will find other jobs because they'll never even equal the BBC's original. It was absurd of them to even try.

Happy thanksgiving to everyone here from someplace where giving thanks is in short supply.

Yeah, sorry, but Top Gear USA sucked. The hosts are just about the least charismatic group I've ever seen on TV. I'll be thankful if it gets cancelled after a few episodes.

LOL "truly just pleased as pumpkin pie for"

Anyways, I think Keith just yanked the words right of my mouth, but in addition I'm thankful that I got my Gran Turismo 5 Collector's Edition yesterday and that I have the day off tomorrow!!

I'm thankful for torque, diesel engines, biodiesel, AdBlue, particulate filters, AWD, stability control, seat heaters, backup cameras, xenon headlights and new car smell. For that matter, I'm thankful for nearly all car smells, councours events, car shows, car dealerships, and even parking lots, 'cause you never know when you're going to see something really, really cool.
I'm thankful for nearly all car manufacturers, but especially MINI, VW, Porsche, Nissan/Infiniti, Subaru, Mazda and Ford.
I'm thankful for all my fellow gearheads, including those who don't agree with me, and I'm especially thankful for Autoblog for giving us a cornucopia of all things auto and the space and freedom to drool, laugh and point, agree, disagree and even argue with our fellow gearheads.

Oh, and I'm thankful for friends and family and all that other stuff, too.
