Jay Leno drives the Jaguar CX75 Concept – Click above to watch video after the jump

Here's another feather for Jay Leno's cap. The Tonight Show host can officially say that he is one of only a handful of drivers to have slipped their way behind the wheel of the amazing Jaguar C-X75 concept from this year's Paris Motor Show. Penned by design guru Ian Callum, the supercar is as sexy as it is advanced. The vehicle gets its power from a quartet of electric motors that are good for 195 horsepower each. Throw in two small turbine engines for generating power and you've got one very unconventional extended-range hybrid.

The C-X75 was designed to celebrate the Leaping Cat's diamond anniversary, and as such, the company pulled all the stops. With a design that pulls from the most successful points in Jaguar history, the car is nothing short of gorgeous. Will it make it to production? We're not sure, but for the moment, you can hit the jump to watch Leno take it all in – and don't forget to watch for an appearance by Callum, too.

"... the company pulled all the stops"

"... pulled out all the stops" is what I believe it should be.

Those rims are terrible. Jay is a fortunate man though.

I agree about the wheels, but those seem more of concept car wheels versus what would be on a production vehicle because they're rather outlandish. However I'm sure any number of wheel manufacturers will make something close if not already having ones like it already in inventory because of the idiots running "dubs" on their cars and trucks as a way to say to the world "Hey look at me! I have a tiny penis, no taste, and money to burn!"

Yeah, Jay is fortunate. I think it's cool that he does what he does and has what he has. Heck they may turn his garage into a museum when he passes on, and hopefully not gut it and sell everything off. If they do keep it as a museum, maybe they will try to continue what he was doing with the unique and one off amazing cars by maintaining them and adding to it for future generations to appreciate.

A wet dishrag has more passion in cars and says more interesting and original things than Jay Leno ever has about cars. This is like listening to your father discuss cars. God, it's awful...

      Amazing!

What size shoe horn did they use to squeeze hulking Jay Leno into this diminutive roadster? How many hours did it take? Did they ever get him out again?

Sorry, Jay, this cat is jamie sized!

Hulking ? I wouldn't call 5'11" hulking in the least... But maybe you're just talking about his head/chin ? :P

Make it and they will come (pun not intended).

LOL @ Jay taking the car to a full 5 mph...

I bet he wanted to floor the thing, but with Callum sitting next to him, he had to play nice!

What a lucky man that Jay.

Really nice to see a _beautiful_ (as opposed to deliberately ugly & polarizing) new car design, for a change.

      Make it. Just make it.

And every time Autoblog posts a Jay Leno video, someone who thinks they are clever comments about Jay Leno's wardrobe. Enough already.

Jaguar C-X75 is a plug in hybrid, 2 seat, concept car from the Jaguar which debuted at the 2010 Paris Motor Show. It produces 778 horsepower through four electric motors, each of which drives one of the four wheels. The batteries driving these motors are recharged using the two diesel-fed micro gas turbines instead of a conventional four-stroke engine.

Quite a looker - especially that rear end.
About the only thing that I am not a fan of is that grill opening. Just doesn't seem right.

I am especially amazed at how small it is. Seen pics of it before, but not with someone standing right next to it. Figured it would be way longer and even taller.
