Jill Wagner has officially given up her crown as the queen of Mercury. With the Ford middle child on its way to the scrap heap, Wagner no longer has any automotive hardware to promote. Given her varied talents, we wouldn't be surprised to see her pick up where she left off with another automaker.
And here you thought you'd never be upset about Mercury's passing.

Thanks for the tip, Gregg!

Team up with Mike Rowe and Ford.

I once had a memorable moment with Jill on Santa Monica Blvd about 5 years ago. I was coming up to a stop sign in a brand new BMW Z4 with the top down and she was standing on the corner on a cell phone with a friend she was waiting to meet for lunch. She looked at my car, nodded her head and told me "Great looking car" and gave me a thumbs up. I'll never forget the day the Bionic Women told me I had a great looking car. :-)

      Mercury had a spokeswoman?

Lincoln should pick her up so she could do commercials with John Slattery

She's needs to be selling young/hip and hot cars (Ford Mustang, Focus, etc). Not trying to bring a younger crowd to your parent's old Nameplate. Then again if she ever cornered me I'd buy whatever she wanted.

Imagine the publicity the new Ford Explorer would get if Mike Rowe and Jill Wagner got caught doing the "dirty deed" in that new spacious back seat?
