Aston Martin Rapide Luxe – Click above for image gallery

If you're in the market for a luxurious four-door, you'd be hard pressed to do better than the Aston Martin Rapide. But now the British automaker has announced an even more exclusive package called the Rapide Luxe.

Over and above all the bells and whistles that come standard on the Rapide, the Luxe trim gets you a selection of exclusive color options (including Quantum Silver and Concours Blue), a custom-fitted leather luggage set matched to the hides of the car's interior, a rear-seat DVD entertainment system, plus glass switchgear and keyfob. Just when you thought the existing Rapide was as good as it gets...

Follow the link for a closer look and check out the images in the gallery below for more details.

I was on the aston site last night to take a look at the rapide. I think it's a gorgeous car. I wish I could just take one out for a drive. The automotive press has the life.

You have to see one in real life to realize how ridiculously long it actually is lol.

      Still an amazing car nonetheless.

I live near to the Aston factory in Warwickshire and the prototypes have been running around here for a while now. This is a truly beautiful car and has huge road prescense. I think its going to be a huge hit, when you consider its main rival, the Porsche Panamera.

Is it just me, or did all of those 'upgrades' sound incredibly pointless?

I think its for people with more money than sense. Last week in the UK a Chinese vase/pot found in a house clearance sold for £43 million! each to their own I suppose but I'd rather have the Aston.

      Oh nice...real nice.
      Best car got even better.

Kind of a kick in the teeth for the people that already bought a Rapide though.

My point was more why are you comparing these cars on such trivial things as rear passenger space, ubiquity or price? The Rapide is art you can drive; compare it to a Warhol or Lichtenstien, and it becomes very affordable and common.

        @ jin and guice

Now you can drive around an... airplane? Or whatever those commercials were about.

Has anyone seen a Rapide on the road?

I haven't, but I've seen dozens of Panameras. Porsche wins.
Aston Martin doesn't make a lot of cars. That doesn't mean "Porsche wins". The Vantage is much slower than a 911 Turbo, for example, but that doesn't mean it wins. I would rather drive an Aston Martin over a Porsche any day of the week. It's all about personal taste.

The long and short of it is the Rapide driver can afford a Panamera if he wanted, not necessarily the other way around.
I doubt they are cross shopping.
The Rapide is stunning and gorgeous, the Panamera not so much.
The Rapide certainly looks great, though it is undoubtedly much easier to design a sleek-looking sedan when you're not overly concerned with the comfort of real-sized, adult rear passengers. I'd take the Panamera.

You know what's more practical than a Panamera? A Toyota Avalon. I see those everywhere, and hardly ever see the Porsche. Avalon for the win.
I've seen plenty of Panameras but something tells me I'll be lucky to see one of these on the road. May just have to go to the Aston Martin Gallery one day in Manhattan to see it.

Nothing says luxury like matched luggage kits.

I have seen a few of these on the road and at my local dealership and they are extremely nice. Much rather have one of these than a panamera. Isn't Aston supposed to be releasing a Rapide with more legroom soon?

Its cars like this that are causing so many accidents on the road from neck snaps trying to get a look as it drives by.

There are also other types of databases which cannot be classified as relational databases. Most notable is the object database management system, testking HP0-Y23 which stores language objects natively without using a separate data definition language and without translating into a separate storage schema.
