2011 Dodge Durango Citadel – Click above for high-res image gallery

Behold the 2011 Dodge Durango Citadel "Black and Tan" – a seven-passenger machine built for what the guys and girls at Mopar call the "distinguished SUV enthusiast." We're not sure we'd ever put ourselves under that banner, but this mean-looking people-mover is absolutely our cup of tea. Riding on a set of Mopar lowering springs and some massive, 22-inch custom wheels, the Citadel is the rolling embodiment of understated aggression.

A scant few chrome accents are scattered around the vehicle, including the textured grille up front and the dual exhaust tips out back. Speaking of the exhaust, Corsa pipes help the engine breathe a little better. We're guessing they also give the Citadel a more commanding sound, too. Check it out for yourself in our gallery of live images.

Nice looking SUV. What's the round opening in the middle the lower grill for?

I must say I think this is one of the best looking SUVs that are out right now. The new Durrango is definitely a looker, the best Durrango to date and the interior (at least from the pictures) seems light years ahead of the old one!

If it comes with a HEMI, It'll be in my garage. It looks a lot like the RAM and I like that, it also has a size advantage over those stupid little honda pilots. The looks on this thing are amazing.

      SO

      MUCH

      WIN

I was there at SEMA and as much as I loved the new Jeep GC, I actually preferred this Durango.

It just looked right and more upscale. Akin to an Escalade but w/o being so dang huge.

Looks Great, this interior should come with the car in top line trim. It really in Durango Denal, but looks great even if the grille is a big of a rip off. But lot's of truck owners do that to their trucks in aftermarket.

      Either way, great looking vehicle!

I still can't get over how freaking HUGE this thing looks. Good looking SUV, but I'd swear it's bolstering it's liquid diet with H1 Hummers.

OMG. Easily one of the most handsome looking SUVs on the market... now the real question is GC or Durango?
they look pretty much the same to me..

i do find the GC very handsome... i actually turned my head when i saw one for the first time!

Hands down. I see the new Jeep all the time. It isn't that impressive in person to be honest. Looks like a Jeep...
