Aston Martin One-77 does the 'Ring again – Click above to watch video after the jump

Today's word from the audio dictionary is "Bellow," one of whose verb forms is defined as "a loud deep sound, as of pain or anger." We're going to be on the side of angry today.

But you can't really understand those words until you watch, and listen to, the latest video of an Aston Martin One-77 (the infamous Dirty Shirley, perhaps?) testing its chops and its pipes at the Nürburgring. Along the way it runs down other 'Ring runners like an R8 and a Ford Focus, but it's likely all they registered was a blur and a bawl. Perhaps even a bellow, if you will. Follow the jump for the aural treat.

UPDATE: Video replaced with working video from YouTube.

      There's 2 car in the video (http://vimeo.com/16214250) :

      KX59 AYV
      KX10 GLF

The plate no. 59 one looks like DB9 with One-77 Replica , because it have
DB9's taillight inside the shape of One-77 taillight location . Also , the headlight
of it looks like directly picked from V8 Vantage instead of One-77's headlight .

I think only the no. 10 plate one is real One-77 .

I am sorry this car is not attractive.
It is cool and all, but it still basically looks like any other Aston Martin.
It surely is not worth 10 times as much as a DBS, which for the record is much more beautiful and classy looking and is faster than I would ever need.

For that price I would hunt down a Mclaren F1 and buy that instead or a Zonda.
Agree the 'basic' DB9 is prettier, but this is certainly the best looking hyper-car you can buy new. The McLaren F1 would be the ultimate, the problem is they are trader for over 3 million bucks. And the Zonda is just plain ugly in my opinion.
I think you really need to see it naked to appreciate that we are in zonda territory. I'm not actually a huge fan of the look compared to their other models, but the price starts to make a lot more sense when you see the level of detail.

Somebody get the key pad code for that gate?

The tread-width differential, front to rear, is really noticeable here. The fronts look like they're off the Cygnet ;}D

I watched until it hit me that there's someone out there that gets PAID to take one of the rarest, best sounding, most beautiful supercars in the world and drive the hell out of it.
I'm only in college, but I already regret what I'm doing with my life.

No kidding. I'd give my left nad for one of these things.

sounds like it's got ricer fart cans on it... I'll keep my ZR1
      • 4 Years Ago
That wing is SUCH a after thought... its fugly too...

IMHO.. I think the 77 is kind of ugly... its looks different and stands out... but it looks weird. The DB9 looks better IMO... and the sound it made in the video wasnt all that great to be honest AB.

Your welcome one person that fully grasped that joke/reference.
Absolutely gorgeous. And as stated, there's two models here. The darker brown/copper one that appears to be a DB9/Vantage test mule, and the black one, that looks to be an actual One-77, almost exactly as the blue concept/show model from earlier.

Please give me one. I'll even settle for the mule.
