Lamborghini Jota at the 'Ring – Click above to watch video after the jump

Lamborghini took its Murcielago successor (codename: Jota) to the 'Ring instead of rolling it out at the Paris Motor Show. Looking for all the world like Sant'Agata took a Ferrari 512TR and threw a leftover Vector bodykit on it, about the only form undisturbed is the massive exhaust exit and some semblance of a greenhouse. Regardless, it sounds outstanding. Make the jump for proof.

dunno how hard they were pushing it, but that 911 was running pretty close.

Just another day at the office......how boring can it get? (lots of crying)

I just got a shiver down my spine looking at that photo. Testarossa looks with today's tech.

      Jesus, this thing is gorgeous.

It IS quiet... I wonder if they have quieted the exhaust note as part of the camo...

I'm looking forward to reading about future updates. Great video of a gorgeous car (and camouflaged).

I keep hearing the Gallardo that's trailing it.

Thats like saying "I am trying to hear the cello, but I keep hearing the violins"

        Just enjoy the symphony.

      LOL!!!!

Is it just me, or does anybody see the UNDISGUISED version of the car @ the 00:56 of the video behind the disguised prototype!! I can't be the only one who saw that!!!!

        ... you mean the gallardo?
Um that was a Gallardo LP570-4 Superleggera.

Sorry, I just think both the Porsche and Lambo drivers were having a little too much fun, and either decided or were TOLD to "back off"...looked (for the short time shown) like a good match. Either would be capable beyond my skills/nerve - Excellent !!!

In what way does it look like a Ferrari 512TR?
        - The very very long front overhang
        - The rear quarter window
        - The deep intakes with strakes behind the door (admittedly the 512TR pioneered this but lots of cars have used it since)

You wouldn't mistake the two, but my first thought on seeing the pic was "wow, looks like a Testrarossa!"

f-ugly - even accounting for the disguise. The Murc was cohesive if somewhat boring - the Gallardo is just a slab sided poser. Lambo haven't done style since the Muira and glitz since the Countach -- nothing comes close to the 458!
