Maserati GranTurismo MC Stradale – Click above for high-res image gallery

We weren't looking for any more reasons to fall hard for the new Maserati GranTurismo MC Stradale. It's the hottest machine to wear the Trident emblem since the Enzo-derived MC12 homologated supercar, packing a 450-horsepower V8, a track-ready chassis, optimized aero that increases downforce without dialing up the drag and a stripped-out interior. In short, it is to the "ordinary" GranTurismo what its sister-company's Scuderia is to the Ferrari F430: a transformation. But in case we needed any more convincing after seeing it up close on the Paris show stand, Maserati has released a whole slew of fresh media for your drooling enjoyment.

      WANT

Always liked Maserati. I feel like they fly under most peoples' radars but they're good looking, have nice interiors, lots of power, and depreciate to the point I might be able to afford one someday, haha.

It looks like an Aston Martin DB9 mated with an M5.

A little tacky, but still probably one of the most gorgeous things one the road (or now supposedly track) today

Wow this car is simply amazing! The "stripped" interior looks amazing!!! Looks ten fold better then any other GT interior on the road! Can't wait til I see this on the road in San Diego!

Wasnt Stradale a Ferrari moniker? Specifically the 360 Challenge Stradale?
Well Fiat owns both Ferrari and Maserati

"stradale" = "road legal" in Italian.

All right, am I gonna have to be the first to come out and say it? Those front quarter panel vents are nearly copied-and-pasted from the Lexus IS-F

I can't get over how awesome the it's logo is, let alone the entire car itself - If only I could win that darn jackpot :(

my god that things is beautiful

I love the Maser GT. Insanely. Such a glorious sounding engine, such a beautiful body.. but where the GT treatment helps the R8 the MC Stradale treatment just hamstrings the otherwise perfectly penned silhouette.

I disagree. The R8 GT has much greater differences between it and the "base" R8. The large wing, for example. This is quite a bit more discreet, I think (tacky graphics from the video aside). A small integrated trunk spoiler, a slit opening behind the front wheel arches, a front fascia lip, and a rear diffuser, boom, done.

I agree that the 'base' Granturismo looks much better then this tarted-up version. Same with the db9 looking better then the dbs.
