Lamborghini's Paris Motor Show teasers – Click above for high-res image gallery

With just days to go until its full unveiling at the Paris Motor Show this week, Lamborghini has released the fifth teaser shot of its mysterious and hotly anticipated new show car. This latest image follows the one released just yesterday, and if we had to guess, we'd say we were looking through a roll hoop behind the cockpit at the steering wheel inside. But if you've got a better guess, do share in the comments section below.

What else can we tell you about the car of which we know so little about? Well we just answered our own question. But we'll have more in just a couple of days, and Lamborghini will undoubtedly keep us guessing until then, so hold on to your hats.

I don't care about these teasers... I just want to see the dang car already.

      When is the motor show?
        You mean tomorrow?

I wouldn't say roll bar since its carbon fiber (can carbon fiber sustain that kind of stress without fracture?) but I do agree that its at least a headrest looking towards a steering wheel.

As for comfort... it looks... light?

I totally agree that its the drivers seat looking at the steering wheel. All the red you see (lower two triangles, around the main opening and on the rectangular piece at the top) appear to be seat padding/cushioning for the headrest. I have to agree with some on the possibility of it having a 1+2 configuration a la mclaren. we all know all lambos are two seaters with the seat up against the rear engine bay so getting a camera behind the seat at that angle seems like it would be difficult unless the headrest is exposed and visible through the rear glass and this is a shot from the engine bay area zoomed in. at least we can say the tease will be over since the show starts soon!

it's the drivers seat head rest and this is probably a track day car really lite version of a gallardo or some variant really....

All of these teasers, honestly, remind me of the ship in Predator 2...

That aside, I was beginning to get annoyed with these difficult to make out teasers. But as I inspected these photographs closer it seems some of those areas contain some seriously complex pieces and there's absolutely no way they can be molded that way cost-effectively, even for a design study. I'm wondering if they went the "FiberForged" route? These pieces have a very distinctive thermoplastic appearance to them. Just a guess, though.

If this is the case, I'm glad to see this technology coming to the automotive market via an exciting concept. If not, then I'm really curious as to how this design study was produced and will be just as fascinated upon its release.

These teasers are so frequent that they are annoying, especially for a car that 99% of us will not buy.

It's like someone gave a photographer a bunch of parts. Either way, anything past the first teaser shot loses it's effectiveness and becomes annoying. It was stupid when Ford did it with the Explorer, and even when you swap it with some sexy Italian sportscar, it's still stupid.

Taking a closer look at these pics, all of the carbon fiber looks fake. Real carbon fiber has a clear 3D look to it, as its woven and therefore looks 'weaved' and usually there is a color variance between the up-down and the left-right pieces of carbon that are weaved together.

Anyone else think this is just a pattern on plastic? I'm not a fan of fake CF, but can appreciate real CF due to its lightness.

CF is fun. The looser the weave, the lighter it is. The tighter the weave, the stronger it is. Simple math.

I think it's the drivers seat with the head rest at the top
        • 4 Years Ago
No, it's a 2 seater, the other image that looks like a honeycomb is actually the dash, and you can see the red seat and steering wheel in the back ground blurred out.
