The Porsche range spans thus: 911, Panamera, Cayenne, Cayman, Boxster. How would you feel about a Porsche Cajun being added to that? We haven't heard much lately about the long-rumored little SUV supposedly being planned in the Stuttgart product department, and the last time we did it was tentatively dubbed "Roxster."

However, in an interview with Germany's Der Spiegel, after Volkswagen CEO Martin Winterkorn expounded on his views of the company and his tenure with it, he hinted that the sixth model in the Porsche line could be called the Cajun. Admittedly, we're a long way off from this vehicle becoming a reality, so we're probably quite a ways from knowing its name... but something called the Porsche Gumbo Cajun, even at this stage, is a bit unexpected. If that's the case, we'll hold out until we can get the inevitable Creole Turbo special edition. Thanks to everyone for the tips.

      Laissez Le Bon Temps Roule!

Way to class it up, Porsche.

        *Roulez* or *Rouler*
That's an interesting question. I think the official answer is "rouler" since it's the infinitive. This doesn't matter anyway, since it's poor grammar even with the "R". When correctly quoted as "Laissez les bon temps rouler," the word "les" is plural and "bon" is singular. This is a perfect illustration of how Cajun is "dirty" French, and despite my typo, a stupid name for a vehicle.

Well, Porsche COULD easily produce this thing by ripping off the Audi Q5.

But why WOULD they? Are Porshce dealers insisting on it?

And why WOULD parent VW want to split Q5 sales between two models?

(I vote for the "Cinnamon" name, it's perfect! "Cojones" would be good for the video game.)

Cool, can't wait for the Porsche Paprika to come out too...

Golf, Bora, Passat all winds and streams, Cajun, Cayenne... what's next....? Porsche Paprika? Or Oregano?

Since winds and spices are taken, what about diseases. Or food!
Alfa Pectoris? Chevrolet Cardiac? Chrysler Stroke? Fiat Pepperoni? Lancia Quattro Stagioni?

      What happened to being creative?

What the... will their be a special edition with a custom made banjo case for the rear?

You named it Cayenne which is bad enough, but at least commit to being consistent and name it after another pepper!

It's also the name of a city in French Guiana.
