Lotus running the FIA GT4 Championship at The 'Ring – Click above to watch videos after the jump

PistonClash Productions has done its thing at the Nürburgring again, this time capturing some of the best of Lotus racing the FIA GT4 Championship. A pair of 2-Elevens and an Evora play the starring roles, with the sounds of race exhaust, rain, passing and a little bit of driver commentary for support.

Those DSLR's sure make stuff look cinematic! They did a great job shooting and editing, but they need to buy a friggin' field recorder with a decent microphone for audio. Seriously, the built in microphones on these cameras are simply unacceptable. It's a shortcoming you learn quickly when you start shooting with them. It's a shame to see such a nice video with such awesome cars and have the ultra-compressed audio clipping and crackling when they get even remotely loud. I guarantee that's the main reason why there are so many segments with music and nothing else.

If they take themselves seriously enough to need a production company name, they should cover all aspects of production... The sound lets these videos down big time. But MAN that Evora racer is hot!

DTM airs on Speed as well. You also forgot Australian V8 Supercars. There is alot of coverage on cool series.

Does anyone know what the Orange cars are? He's trying to get by one of them in the second video starting at 2:21. Awesome videos, they're shot very well.

I have absolutely NO IDEA what you mean by "Nascar is the only thing we get here in the states??"

I'm from Cincinnati. I don't know WTH you are watching, but I've been stoked this weekend. Night race in Singapore in Formula 1 is the return race for Nick Heidfeld.

Also, Indycar's season wraps up. It's put up - or - shut up time for Will Power.

Finally, ALMS is a great multi-tiered series.

Oh, and Touring Car. There's a substantial touring car series in America, too. If you want a team to root for, Try http://www.facebook.com/pages/Tri-Point-Motorsports/ or
http://www.tripointmotorsports.com.

Get satellite or cable television, and make sure your provider offers SPEED, VERSUS, and if you want WRC, Discovery HD broadcasts WRC.

I haven't found an American station to air or broadcast DTM or Japan SuperGT, but I'd be stoked to watch them, too.

Amen. So why is it again that Nascar is the only thing we get here in the states?? I mean, if you are bored watching this- even if you're not into cars- you're basically brain dead.
