2011 Aprilia Dorsoduro 1200 – Click above to watch video after the jump

Aprilia just released video of its brand new Dorsoduro 1200 dancing through a set of mountain twisties. Better still, the whole shebang is set to the ever-badass tunes of ZZ Top. It's our kind of kitsch. If you're still reading and not watching the video after the jump, we're not sure if we can still be friends. The big v-twin looks like an absolute blast with its quasi-motard stance. Even with that massive mill saddled down low, the riders in the video don't seem to have any problem flinging the bike through a series of somewhat technical turns.

The downside, of course, is that as of right now, Aprilia has no plans to bring the big Dorsoduro 1200 to the land of the free. That means that if you like what you see, you better pick up the phone and start hounding your local dealer. There's always a chance that with enough interest, Aprilia just might change its mind. Hit the jump to see the flick for yourself.

      Worth watching just for the tunes. Otherwise, not much of a video

      I'd much rather have a RSV4 or a Tuono. I just don't like the strip-down bikes like that. Sure, it's got a monster engine and probably can run like a bat out of hell, but I just don't like it. Aprilia hasn't truly been impressing me lately. :/

      I really think they are going to have a hard time selling this bike in any real quantities here in the states. I was also really not impressed with the video. It looks like something my buddies and I could make over a weekend.

      I have the 750 and I love it...it is definitely different and a ton of fun. I can just imagine the 1,200. Sure it's not as fast as a liter inline 4 but the V-twin runs smooth and the gearbox is crisp and solid. Very fun bike for hooligan antics.

      Looks like they put the front tire on upside-down in that picture.

      @Daniel Cote

      Welcome to the new world of the automotive launch video. And why drown out the sound of the engine with the music.

      The piece of fairing that ends at the radiator looks like an afterthought. It's an interesting bike. Not particularly sexy but not ugly either.

      Out of all the beautiful bikes out there, why would someone buy this? Looks like an insect.
