Click above to watch the video after the jump

When we think of the best possible ways to market a vehicle, somehow placing it on a floating platform and letting wakeboarders jump over it just doesn't crack the top 10. That didn't stop Mitsubishi from offering up an all-new Lancer Ralliart Sportback for All-ActionSports.com's mid-week wake up. Wakeboarders from all over the U.S. lined up to hit a ramp at full speed, jump over ten feet in the air while flipping and flopping over the Mitsubishi wagon.

Hit the jump to watch the skiing daredevils take on water, gravity and the Sportback at the same time.

Yeah, it's a misnomer. They are jumping NEAR the car, and high enough to clear it, but not actually over the car.

      Blue sportback! LOL

This is one marketing attempt that failed horribly. If they wanted to push the car more they should have as one post said before shown video of it sliding around.

I still personally think the RalliArt is a failure, it doesnt offer a manual transmission.

I will admit that I didn't watch the entire video (because it was extremely dull), but I didn't see a single jump over the car. I saw a lot of jumping next to the car, but that's not really the same is it? What was the point of this video again?

        Agreed.

Maybe somewhere I missed where jumping "over" something came to be defined as jumping as high as the object, yet ten feet in front of it...

Pleeeeeease, isn't there any depth to which you won't dive in order to fill up your daily blog

ok wth. i own an 09 ralliart, so i know full well that it will powerslide pretty easily. Why not show us some videos of that as an advert?! i really have no idea what mitsu is thinking lately...need to fire their advertising manager apparently. Hell, most non-enthusiests have no idea what the RA Lancer even is. Pretty sad marketing for their 2nd best offering.
