Shin Kinoshita doing what he does best – Click above to watch video after the jump

Whether it's wrestling a 3,000 lb NASCAR bruiser around a tri-oval for hours on end, sliding a rear-wheel drive Scion tC up Mulholland Drive or coaxing a GT350 around Laguna Seca with a flock of similarly vintage iron, knowing the limits of a vehicle better than anyone else on the track will earn our deference in a hurry.

It's in that spirit that we bow down before Shin Kinoshita.

As one of the stunt riders with the Icon-sponsored Empire team, Kinoshita's several notches above the rest of his crew in terms of the blatant insanity required to bend a motorcycle to one's will. While each of his individual stunts are supremely impressive, it's the transitions between them that will send your jaw skittering off your desk. Lest you think we exaggerate, please hit the jump and check out the promo video. Your concept of physics may never be the same. Thanks for the tip, Matt!

Rossi has traction control, and has had it for years... he'd like to see it removed from MotoGP to make for better racing and a better show for the fans, but it would have to be universal - he knows he needs it to be competitive if everyone else is using it.

Watch this video carefully before you dish out the negative comments - the kid can ride. He does a number of moves that are truly amazing, as well as a bunch that are just average. This was a photo shoot, not a competition...

Now I finally know what it's like to have a seizure.

Kinda ruined with the editing/colors and whatnot – we get it you guys are trendy and cool. Still, the rider skill speaks for itself.

Dude is amazing, but I was too insulted by the idiotic editing to finish watching.

The control he had over the bike was as good as the effects editing on the video was bad.

      That's nifty.

      He looks kind of slow..

I've seen better several times. Doesn't mean I'm not impressed though. ALL these guys and girls are damn amazing to me. Back when I was young, we never would have thought about doing these kinds of stunts on street bikes. But then again, our bikes weren't anywhere near as capable either. That said, even back in my day, trials riders were simply amazing too because they had the same kind of balance and bike control that these modern day stunt riders do.

As crappily edited this video was, I think Skin's stunts are more impressive. Shin maintains some pretty crazy angles in balancing the bike, spins around without using his arms, just has a lot more variety in manipulating the bike. As for transitions, we just don't know because of the editing.

of course icon would sponsor this.

I'm sry but maybe its just me, but i don't think this is called " bike control," more like extra low gearing. Bike control is watching rossi with a 200+ hp moto gp bike with no traction control do a massive 140 mph drift into a sweeper... that's "Control!" XD

That didn't seem like anything special at all to me. Hell, he couldn't make it a full turn without touching a foot to the ground. Not impressed at all.
i can do that in my sleep.
Not hard to believe. I can do that in my sleep, just as I can do Eva Mendes. It's just that I cannot accomplish either of those when I wake up.

        hey..you got my joke :P
