2012 Bentley Continental GT spy shots – Click above for high-res image gallery

It's only a matter of days before Bentley officially debuts the 2012 Continental GT coupe on the internet. We've already seen two sets of spy shots and a teaser video, and now our trusty spy photographers have caught the big Conti out testing one last time. So much for keeping us in suspense.

Yes, by now we already have a very good idea of what the final Continental GT will look like, but we're still curious as to what changes lie under that shapely sheetmetal. What's more, we're sure that Bentley has a few tricks up its sleeve for new interior refinement (not that the current Conti has third-world accommodations, or anything).

ContinentalGT.com is the place to be at 10:00 AM EST on Tuesday, September 7 – that's where we'll see the official reveal and get full details on the new Conti. For now, scroll through the final set of spy shots, below.

You know, honestly I've never cared for their designs. I see so many people fall in love with these Bentleys and I think they are eh, ok looking, nothing orgasmic. Not sure if they are in love with their prices, or what they feel those cars can add to their life, like attention. But really, I feel their designs are like decade old overall. Not saying they are Nissan Joke ugly, or Pontiac Asstek ugly, but eh...kinda like a Kia, if it passes you by you ignore it, kinda styling...

I'm super disappointed. I own my second GTC but if this is what the next 7 years are supposed to look like, I don't think there'll be a third.

I guess it has almost a Bangle butt - and a bunch of creases around it now.........
not sure those additions are making the skin any fresher

If we weren't told it's a new one, I would never guess.

Look closely, that's gray tape covering what appear to be large wrap around taillights

When it is revealed we will all see the LED "running lights" around the headlights. I think they are attempting to cover them up with tape in these pictures. I loved them the first time I saw them on an Audi, but now every luxury automaker feels like a new car must have them. They are not the novelty that they once were.

worthless without more dash to axle, always looks like a fwd vw

It's being talked of as a new car but insiders tell me they ran out of money for an all new aluminum chassis and just reskinned the existing nose and tail, carry-over DLO, new dash and re-foamed seats and carry-over powertrain so the base car gets the Speed W12. A small improvement in weight (like 200lbs) which for a heavyweight like this is nothing but then they've changed very little. It will age quite quickly and again I'm told nothing new is on the way any time soon so get used to this lightly changed look.
