Nissan Leaf – Click above for high-res image gallery

After reporting that at least one Nissan dealer has committed to selling the upcoming Leaf for $1,000 below MSRP, we assumed that others would slowly follow suit. Well, sure 'nuff, another dealership has announced it will match or beat any offer out there, including the claimed $1,000 off of MSRP. The dealer, Connell Nissan of Costa Mesa, CA hopes to swipe up Leaf sales with a deal that really can't be beat. Connell Nissan's general manger, Mark Ranauro, posted on the MyNissanLeaf forum:
Connell Nissan will meet or beat any advertised price that can be verified. We are dedicated to earning your business. When you get your invitation from Nissan, select Connell Nissan Costa Mesa and let us know you are from the Leaf forum to receive your special price. At this time, a dealer is offering $1,000 off MSRP. We will offer that or more.
Let the price wars continue to wage on. What's next? $2,000 below MSRP? Who knows, but we'd definitely love to see a dealer step up to the plate by offering another unbeatable deal on the Leaf. Hat tip to EVNow!
