Great podcast guys! It's nice to talk about things that are not as current (or boring) as todays news. Hats off to Dan with the idea and I never thought I would learn so much from a podcast. You guys have great insight into the automotive world. I am only 16 and it was really nice to hear about cars made before my time. Keep up the good work!

In the early 90's my family had a Toyota Van which was a 7 seater. it was one of those egg looking ugly things. it was a 2.2l four cylinder with a 5 speed manual trans.

So I have SAM to thank for the HORRIBLE ABS on my 1994 Esprit. Its retched.

PS, have 200% of the purchase price on hand to keep it running.

On the 3rd row question, I had the same in 2003.

There was 2 choices back then, but the 3rd row was really really small. It was the Volvo V70 and the Audi Allroad with optional back facing 3rd row.

I finally had to settle for an automatic minivan because of the price of those 2, and the way too small 3rd row.

Unfortunately, things like the Pathfinder loosed their manual transmission when they gained their 3rd row!!

Forgot to mention the TVR Speed 12. Awesome car. Equally great impressive podcast. Next time, COMPACTS.

KIA allegedly offers the Sorento with a stick (and 2.4 I4) and 3rd row.
On KIAmedia.com, but not on KIA.com.
Maybe it was aborted before launch?
