2011 Chevy Volt Initial Ordering Workbook – Click above for high-res image gallery

This is as real as it get – until the production vehicles begin to roll off the line and into driveways.

Some new details about the 2011 Chevrolet Volt emerged with the release of the Initial Ordering Workbook for the highly anticipated plug-in vehicle. According to the document, the Volt will be available in six colors: Silver Ice Metallic, Black, Crystal Red Tintcoat, White Diamond Tricoat, Cyber Gray Metallic and Viridian Joule Tricoat. Those Tricoat colors will only be available for an extra, unspecified cost. Other ways to rack up the $41,000 MSRP include the following equipment packages:
  • Rear Camera and Park Assist (PCW)
  • Premium Trim (PCQ), which includes a leather-wrapped steering wheel and heated front seats, among other things
  • 17-inch 5-spoke forged polished aluminum wheels (RTN)
The Limited Production Options (LPOs) include a rear cargo net, front window shade, an additional 120V charging cord, a vehicle cover and a rear seat storage/barrier. But why listen to us tell you what's exciting here, when you can click through the gallery below and see for yourself (but we do like the radio's time-shift function, which acts like a DVR and can pause live radio). What do you like?
