If you're a fan of the electric motorcycle art that is the MotoCzysz E1pc and you didn't have the opportunity to watch it win the TT Zero on the Isle of Man earlier this year, you may have another chance to witness its awesomeness right here in the good ol' US of A. Word on the street, courtesy of bike blog Hell for Leather, is that it will be competing in the Laguna Seca installment of the FIM e-Power International Championship series this 24th of July. To top it all off, the designer and builder of the machine, Michael Czysz himself, will be in the saddle for the race. How cool is that?
If you're thinking that's pretty nifty and all, but still wonder what a CEO might know about getting low in the bends, let us assure you, plenty. Among other activities Mr. Czysz is involved with, he is also the head instructor at the Skip Barber Superbike School and is pretty intimate with the straights, twists and the famous corkscrew turn at Laguna Seca. In fact, we are so confident in the abilities of the E1pc and its notable rider that we are willing to call this race in their favor, barring technical malfunction or (God forbid) accident. Hit the jump and check out "the pass" made on last year's Isle of Man TTXGP winner Ron Barber at the 1:00 mark before scrolling down more for a bit of on-board bonus footage from the same race.
