2010 Ford F-150 SVT Raptor – Click above for high-res image gallery

Not too long ago, the rumormill was buzzing about the possibility of Ford offering a SuperCrew version of the brutal F-150 SVT Raptor, adding four-door versatility to the already awesome prowess of the automaker's latest pickup. Now, Inside Line reports that Ford has confirmed production of the more spacious Raptor for the 2011 model year.

IL also states that Ford will only offer the SuperCrew Raptor with the top-rung 6.2-liter V8, which produces a healthy 411 horsepower and 434 pound-feet of torque. Need to get the family across the desert in a hurry? This is the truck you'll want to opt for. We'll wait for the official word from Ford before we discuss pricing, but expect the SuperCrew model to ring in just above the standard 6.2-liter Raptor's base price of $41,995.

Ram Power Wagon, prepare to meet your match.

      Do want.

        What's crappy about it?

Are you seriously stuck in 1985 still? Dude, hop in the time machine and get back to the future... Here, let me update you just in case Doc Brown didn't give you the details!

        1. Mr Fusion never got invented! (But we're hoping)
        2. The Big Three no longer suck! So you can trade that bandwagon you've been offering rides on because your ticket sales are almost nill at this point.
        3. Ford for one meets or beats Honda and Toyota in quality. GM does too in half their vehicles. Chrysler meh (and I drive one)...
        4. Biff is NOT your friend!
And finally 5. If you see or hear anyone speaking ill words about the Big Three, please have them look up all current information so they don't make a mistake and bash a vehicle that is world class, such as the one in this post, which ultimately makes them look like a complete dufus....Kinda like you did!

Now I don't think you're a dufus, I just think you're bitter about a 5 year old used domestic car that you bought, which had 100K on the odo and which weren't aware was beat to piss and when it broke and you had to sink uber cash into you marked American companies for death in your mind. It's okay to let it go! We're hear for you!

Now say it with me "THE BIG THREE DO NOT SUCK ANYMORE" NOR DO THEY SWALLOW (just in case you want to show your ounce of wit)... Nor do I or we any of the above! (just in case you resort to foul measures)..

Use the force dawg, let it go! Times have changed!

May the Schwartz be with you!

        Give Peace a Chance

        Get down with Fraggle Rock!

Do something, just don't be so.......... like that!

yo that is on BAD ASS looking truck.

I want one, and I am not a truck guy
Considering selling the G8 GT for this. Hmmm....
I'm sure you could sell it. There's still people clamoring to get those.
        Why would you do that?
This is not good news... I was looking forward to an Ecotech V6 in one of these. Gonna have to see what the new Lariate looks like now...
By "Ecotech" you mean EcoBoost, right? Ecotech is from GM's lineup.
I doubt the truck will change much in appearance, since it was just redesigned for the 2009MY. Probably see an EcoBoost in the normal F-150's, and maybe a version of the 5.0 V8.
I'd like to see that too... Or just a new efficient Ranger w/ a similar suspension set up.
l o l . . . until you and your sidekick captain planet can some how exceed the performance of this 6.2 liter V8 with electric motors or whatever eco-driven motor thats up your sleeves, very few people are going to care.

Any idea of the towing/hauling numbers? I'm guessing that with the extra weight they will be reduced even further than the regular Raptor.

Personally, I would want to own one that is a regular cab/short bed. Essentially a 4x4 Lightning. In that configuration it would be lighter and, therefore, most likely perform slightly better.
Give the people what they want is a good way to go, Ford. At least, the lucky ones that can afford this. Oh well, at least I will get to drool over the photos when this does come out.
Kudos to Ford for building it.
Awesome truck (easily my favorite truck in recent years), but damn if I could ever justify buying that thing. Hefty price, thirsty machine = EPIC truck that will remain but a dream for me.
Oh, I could never justify buying one. But I still want it.
Why don't they drop in the 5.0 from the new Mustang? They could even supercharge it for a bit more grunt (although it really doesn't need it).
It's probably easier on the engine and pistons if it has larger displacement, less RPM's and work to make the same amount of horsepower, and it also offers more natural torque. I don't know for sure but that's my guess. Take care and God bless.
      Dam pricey!
I'm not a truck guy at heart but own an HD truck to haul a large 5th wheel with. This truck doesn't do much for me because it's not suitable for hauling what I do, mostly too high off the ground to tow a 5th wheel level. It's a toy for the sandbox Tonka truck set who don't mind paying for it and want people to "Dig me!"
      What a truck should be.
you guys concerned about the 4 door being heavier are funny. is it heavier? yes, but by less than 150lbs... in a truck this size with that much power, will it really make any noticeable difference? nope. would you not let a friend ride in it because they're too heavy? i doubt it.
