Forza 3 Exotic Car Pack DLC – Click above for high-res screen-shot gallery

There are exotics, and then there are exotics. Some are relatively commonplace, like Porsches, Lamborghinis or Ferraris. But some are decidedly, well... exotic. Like Spykers, Gumperts and Moslers, to name just a few. Those most exotic of exotics are the contents of the latest downloadable content package for Forza 3, the hit racing game for the Xbox 360.

Called, suitably enough, the Exotic Car Pack, it contains the SSC Ultimate Aero, Weismann GT MF5, Devon GTX, Spada Codatronca TS, Spyker C8 Laviolette LM85, Mosler MT900S, Rossion Q1, Radical SR8 LM and Gumpert Apollo S, plus an Australian exotic called the Joss JT1. The package costs 400 Microsoft points (equivalent to $5) on Xbox Live, but you can check them out now in the high-res screen-shot gallery below and the video after the jump.

I wish they would release the updated Mustang car pack.
Honestly, if they release the 2010 Mustang GT or 2011 Mustang GT 5.0L....I'll be very happy with Turn10, and play the game for countless more hours.

I'm getting bored with the cars we have now in the game.

I want to drive something totally awesome.

and for goodness sake MAKE THE CARS SOUNDS REALISTIC!!! Gosh, I hate those stupdi computer generated sounds! ughh!
There are already too many Mustang variants in the game. The only one I can see them adding is the new GT with the 5.0.

I'm glad they are offering yet more cars, though of recent packs I haven't used many of the cars offered. Still, i'm running out of compelling tracks to run them on - or compelling races. It would be nice to see Monaco, Spa, maybe the artic circle track offered to expand the driving universe - or maybe a virtual Fairfax-Bolinas road since I miss that 14 mile drive in the Bay Area immensely.

Still waiting for a 2009 Gillet Vertigo...

These will be nice additions to my already impressive Forza 3 collection! Now if I could get some of these for real...

Dang it! I've been wanting to get Forza & a Xbox for sometime now but just haven't pulled the trigger. Last night in a store I saw a Xbox that already comes with Forza 3 and another game for $299. Now they keep coming with these cool add ons. I guess I just need to go ahead and bite the bullet and get it before those specials run out.

A racing wheel is worth considering too. It adds a good bit to the overall experience, especially if you're more accustomed to using a wheel anyway.

Just make sure to read reviews for the things. Some of those wheels are just horrible.

Brad, you might want to think twice about that XBox; save your pennies and hold out for a PS3 and GT5 (and at least you'll get a Blu-Ray player into the bargain). Everyone I know who owns a 360 has had theirs returned at least once for repairs. My XBox died a month out of warranty, and 14 months later its replacement is on the way out too.

When my current 360 dies (again) I won't be getting it replaced or repaired; I'm going to save and buy a PS3;.my brother has a PS3 (as well as a 360) and he's got nothing but praise for it. We also have a PS2 that ran for 8 years without skipping a beat (I say ran since we don't really use it anymore).

Go ahead and do it already!!! You won't regret it!

        @Some Guy

As a PS3 owner I warn you that the PS3 is also known for breaking as mine did after the 1 year warranty compared to the extended warranty on the Xbox 360. I was forced to either wait a month or more and pay 150 to get my 60 GB PS3 back or just go out and buy a new one with a bigger HDD for $300 so I bought a new one.

Forza Motorsport 3 is a great game and it is out now unlike Gran Turismo 5. As far as gaming goes the Xbox 360 wins right now. If you want a Blu-Ray player go with the PS3. I own over 100 blurays.........

Can't wait to drive the Mosler!

Guess they were too good for the Bertone?

I downloaded this car pack a couple of days ago, and it is BRILLIANT. Yeah, some of the cars are not necessarily easy on the eyes, but the ones I have tried out so far are very fun to drive.

If you are a VIP, they gift you the Spyker. That is the first one I built, tuned, and test drove, and it is excellent!

I also bought the Mosler, Spada, and the Gumpert, and they are all amazing, especially the Mosler, which is already taking over the leaderboards in R2 and R3 class. Now I have to do a few more races so I can earn enough money to buy the rest of them!
"What do you mean by 'VIP'? How do you become one?"

It's part of the Forza 3 Limited Edition goodies. But don't worry, VIP status is for sale as downloadable content on Xbox LIVE. You just have to pay them for the status to get the free cars.

Oh, and you'll just have to give them $8 a month from then on if you want to actually be able to "take delivery" of said cars, as a recent patch requires you to have a Xbox LIVE Gold membership to be able to enjoy the features you've already paid for.

      But where's the Zenvo ST1?
I'm a car guy... not a dyed in the wool gear head... but i can appreciate the beauty of a well designed car. Is it my imagination or, based on these pics, are all Super Exotics but friggin' ugly?
I sometimes thank God that are a lot of these are one offs because of their ugliness. And before anyone lights the flamethrower... yes, I know I'll never come close to affording one anyway.

        "Form follows Function"

Amen. I can think of a million examples of cars once thought ugly as sin that are now considered groundbreaking classics... Not that all of these examples will stand the test of time, but my money is on the apollo.

I personally find the Codatronca pretty hot. Especially knowing that the man behind the company is Ercole Spada, who styled numerous lovely Zagato-bodied Lancias and Alfas in the Sixties, most notably the Alfa TZs. You can see the family resemblance in the new car.

The way things are going, it looks like I'm going to have to break down and buy a 360 with Forza. You can only race the same car on the same track in GT5P so many hundred times...

Great, yet another Forza update. More money for a selection of cars I don't want (Mosler excepted) and more changes/additions to the multiplayer mode. I wish Turn 10 had delayed the release of this game, so that it featured a PROPER MULTIPLAYER MODE (rather than changing it every few weeks), decent interiors and no glitches! They still haven't fixed the sound-sync problems...
Yeah, Forza 3 does have a few issues, but I still enjoy the hell out of it!

As far as GT5 is concerned, I bought a PS3 two years ago just for GT5, and I am still waiting. I bought a couple of other PS3 games in the meantime, just so I would feel like I got my moneys worth, but I went back to the 360. The Playstation online gaming is horrible. Playstation Network might be free, but it's like they say, you get what you pay for.

Also, let us not pretend that Poliphony has not rushed out any of the GT releases, like GT2. I still have yet to play a game that has had as many glitches and quality issues as GT2 had, but I still loved it though.

What does Forza have to do with automobiles? What does lawnmowers have to do with automobiles? I'm sorry, but I'm getting sick of this.

I, and along with a bunch of other Mustang enthusiasts, have been PATIENTLY waiting for a 2011 Mustang GT 5.0L car download in Forza Motorsport 3.

        C'mon Turn10....give us a Muscle Car Pack.

        Or a "Track Pack".

When I got the game, I was so pissed that they didnt include a 2010 Mustang GT in the over-400 car roster.

Yeah you can put the 2010 Camaro in there...but not the 2010 Mustang?

        Give us GT.
You can't be serious. This has to be a joke.

Forza, a CAR racing simulator, has nothing to do with automobiles?

A riding lawn mower, with an engine and 4 wheels that moves on it's own AUTOmatically, has nothing to do with automobiles?

Goto Jalopnik if you want to complain about non-automotive news.
