Top Gear UK Spotted – Click above to watch video after the jump

America has suddenly been smitten with a rare strand of celebrity spotting. With our very own Top Gear headed our way, internet sleuths from all over the country have been outing Tanner Foust, Adam Ferrara and Rutledge Wood as they film new segments for the show. So far, we've seen the crew put the Dodge Viper up against an attack helicopter and flog a few cars along Mulholland.

But this is nothing new for our cousins across the pond. The O.G. Top Gear crew has been gallivanting around the streets and highways of England in plain sight for years. That doesn't mean it's any less special when Clarkson, Hammond and May are spotted in the wild, though.

Someone recently nabbed a quick video of the dynamic trio cruising along in their homebrewed caravans, and judging from the commentary, you'd think it was the second coming of the lords of internal combustion. Hilarity ensues. Hit the jump to see the quick video for yourself. Trust us, you do want to see this. Thanks for the tip, Kevin!

A Clarkson sighting is like a UFO sighting.

I like this line "take a picture".
Umm, you have a video camera.

Anyone that reads autoblog that wouldn't be excited by the thought of seeing the top gear crew in action, shouldn't be wasting their time reading autoblog.

I really do hope we get a sideways comment from Clarkson about the people on the web with their Facetube and such. The only reason he wouldn't is he doesn't want to encourage this behavior.

Next season of TG can't come soon enough!

I'd react the same way, minus the accent.
That's a little selfish, don't you think? Only caring about people who care about you...
I actually found this wildly funny lmaooo.

How many thought that May would be driving the second "contraption", instead of Hammond?
        I had the exact same reaction - I'm glad I wasn't alone!

... although it could be that May has the most "sensible" one - it's the least ostentatious..

Ugh... that was painful to watch.

        @HL

It's because the people who recorded it don't know how to turn their iPhone sideways...
The aspect ratio isn't helping either.

All of you need to lighten up. For real.

I, for one, would freaking crap my pants with glee if I saw them driving.

Nick, maybe you should have read the title of the post. Which says EXACTLY what the video shows.

I would have been about the same, but without the accent!

Just wasted my time listening to hysterical, pathetic laughter from some very dumb people.

        If this is funny then.....

I met Clarkson at the NEC in 98 along with Quentin Willson and Tiff Needell when they used to host TG together and were performing live stage events at the British International Motor Show. Great trio and I was just as thrilled to meet them as these guys were to see the current TG crew on the road.

That's crazy. I'm not sure what the heck was coming out of their mouths but I'm pretty sure I would have done the same thing if I saw Hammond coming down my road. http://www.humidorwarehouse.com
