Before we get to this week's show, we wanted to explain what's up with The Autoblog Podcast in iTunes. The short story is that TV Squad, one of our sister sites in the AOL Network, recently received an update that went awry. The result was all of our RSS feeds being replaced with the TV Squad RSS feed. The issue was quickly fixed, but for some reason iTunes isn't recognizing this fact and continues to display the TV Squad podcast as if it were The Autoblog Podcast. We're in contact with people from iTunes who assure us the problem is being worked on, so hang tight.

In the meantime, if you subscribe to The Autoblog Podcast via iTunes, you will not automatically receive this week's episode. The easiest workaround until we get this fixed is to use the link below to download the MP3 file directly and drag it into iTunes. We're terribly sorry for the inconvenience, even though it's not our fault. Send your hate mail to TV Squad.

Chris Shunk, Sam Abuelsamid, Dan Roth, and Steven Ewing take on topsy-turvy topics like hybrid Ferraris, the Land Rover LRX, Hyundai's focus-grouping a pickup truck, Toyota's possible hydrogen future, and the OnStar relaunch. There's the Autoblog Garage to start, and we finish with questions for this week's 80-minute installment. See you next week!

Another great podcast. Re: Ferrari hybrid, it would seem all the Ferraris on the planet, running continuously, would approach the damage to the environment of all the Prius cars running around out there. This wraps up everything including fuel, damaging building materials (i.e. the batteries, etc...), so this is clearly political and a "feel good" policy for the Greenies out there. However, Sam makes a good point about Ferrari and its ability to engineer solutions.

Dan Roth: Yes. Magnum PI is still what I think regarding Ferrari. Witness some of my latest photos from Hawaii:

You'll see the requisite 328 and the Robin's Nest Estate. For the youth: you can watch Magnum on NetFlix.

I'm with you on on the golf vs the A3 tdi. Totally agree! The only advantage would be if you could get the A3 with AWD which you can't get.

you can do what I do with my Sony NW-HD5 and download the mp3 file. Adding the RSS to something like Juicer will also download the podcast automagically, I'm sure Zune's software is way slicker than Sony's Sonic Stage.

We've submitted multiple times to be included in the Zune marketplace.

Still waiting for it to get fixed in the ipod touch itunes interface.

The download via the RSS with my ZENcast Organizer however works just fine.

Great show, I'm hoping they resolve things before monday as I have to travel . I don't want to have to connect to the ipod to my pc.
